Ranking of conferences by AdjEM of team that's expected to go .500 in conference play over the last 14 years (KenPom):
B12: +15.00
B10: +14.46
ACC: +14.42
BE: +14.31
SEC: +11.91
P10/12: +11.67

The Big 12 has also been the best conference over the last five seasons running. There is no argument that can be made that the B12 is "weak" or that some other program from another conference would have done anything like this.

Played two more years than him, but Kaun was always a good player despite what one person here would have you believe.

Arthur also didn't start most of his 1st year which limited his total contribution as well. If I was to do it on a rate statistic basis (WS/40 min), I believe he would only be behind Aldrich.

I will note how many years each player played in parentheses now.

McLemore's 1 year impact (as a frosh) was pretty damned significant at 6.5... I would have thought Wiggins' would have been higher, though.

Wiggins wasn’t particularly aggressive except for a few games. Both were really solid defenders (especially for 1 and dones). McLemore was much more efficient (read: assertive) on offense.

I was worried that Graham would have a game where he was in serious foul trouble early and/or fouled out. To play that many 40 minute games and have it be a non issue. Its not like he was taking it easy on the defensive end and you never quite know when, he goes hard to the basket that the ref might suddenly decide to call a charge.

Congrats to all the KU players that have been part of the streak.

I wasn't worried. If you can't just sit back and enjoy what they do year in and year out without more than a little anxiety during big games, you're doing it wrong.

People here have been claiming the streak will break every year for like 5 years now.... I guess one year they'll actually be right.

Sherron, while I’m a total homer had a LOT of very bad possessions. He did an awful lot of good things but he thought he was capable of more than he was.
