Will the Big X be left out of the playoff again this year?

The Big X as we know has been hamstrung by not having a conference championship game and by only having 10 teams, and with Baylor's loss this weekend, the Big X now has only one undefeated team left - Oklahoma State, who is due to face two top 10 teams in the next two weeks.

Will the Big X be without an argument to put a team in the playoff again this season, when they end up with multiple 1-loss teams and no way to differentiate them?

Oklahoma lost to a horrible Texas team that the Irish beat in a blowout. If it comes down to a choice between the two, ND will get the nod over OU.

If you've watched both teams play this year, you'd know that OU is currently the better team.

How? Oklahoma was gated the game against Tennessee via 3 pass interference calls on the last drive and was a conversion away from losing to TCU without their two Heisman candidates.

I hate Notre Dame, but they're much more deserving than Oklahoma if they win out.

He was their starter when the season began. He isn't anymore, but he was then. Heard sucks out loud anyway.

If you want to play the 'backup QB' card, Baylor had a backup QB, and so did TCU.

I don't have a problem with the top 4, but I don't understand the logic behind these moves at all.

I don't get how the committee ranks Notre Dame as a solid 4 one week, then essentially drops them behind three teams this week... OU, Iowa, Michigan State. OU had a great win over Baylor and they don't get moved up, but they were a missed 2 point conversion from losing to a beat up TCU, and that gets them into the top 4. Same with Iowa... they've had some nice wins that didn't give them a huge boost, but a win over 2-9 Purdue throws them into the top 4. They should've made these moves when OU beat Baylor and Iowa beat Northwestern. It makes no sense that those great wins didn't carry weight, but last week somehow did.

Notre Dame narrowly escaping a neutral field game against an awful opponent had more to do with them slipping than OU beating a top 10 team one week and a top 20 team the next. They play at another top 10 team this week.

Yeah, it was very confusing TCU last year dropped from 3 to 6 in the final week, despite winning 55-3. Doesn't make any sense!
