Because Pioli picks NOW to do this? To a player that has only been with the team a few months? When he's stuck with other players through sucktitude for ****ing YEARS??? Fact: Routt has been terrible.
Fact: Attendence will be down 60% for the balance of the year.
Fact: Season ticket renewals will take a huge hit.

Routt's entire contract was not guaranteed so cutting him will save money.

I get Carr should have been resigned, but you can't change history. You have to deal with the present.
