Anybody catch the video of Pioli using F-bombs while talking to Schiano

You can definitely make out a couple. At one point it looks like he says "mother ****ing cock sucker" and then something like "all the ****ing power".

I was absolutely horrified and amazed at the way the story of the banner completely dissipated because of Winston's outburst. Heck, a few in the national media even suggested that the people who paid for the banner were the same who "cheered for Cassel's injury." It seems like this man will throw anyone under the bus to preserve his legacy, and with his contacts in the media, we better prepare for a very, very ugly finish to his time in Kansas City.

The "media" with which you are so concerned has been describing the Midwest as the "fly-over-states" for decades ... they could give two shits about us. I don't think we need worry about the media at this point. Our only concern should be running Pioli's fat ass back to New England where he belongs.

PR_capone's effort to organize the banner was unbelievably impressive. The chorus of boos on Cassel and the unity behind it. Unbelievably impressive.

Because of a few knuckleheads, what's happened? If Cassel marches on the field again, there are going to be a lot of fans scared to boo him. What happened to PR's movement? He had to scale back his effort. It energized Cassel homers to convince other fans that we were being too tough on him.

All because of a few idiots.

If PR scales back his efforts, it's a big mistake, and anyone who wouldn't boo the shit out of Cassel has balls as big as RAC's.

What would be real great is if Pioli is fired, leaving Cassel hanging here in limbo.

Pioli and Cassel didn't get a mulligan and Chiefs fans haven't been sent to Bad Fan Island where diseased monkeys pluck your eyes out and eat your genitals. Rather, nothing happened. A few fans got their blood pressure up for no reason and a few more are wringing their panties dry concerned that our reasonable, kind, hard-working Midwestern "image" has somehow been damaged.

The "media" you're so worried about doesn't care, man. Outside of the Chiefs Kingdom, nobody cares. They really don't. And the smart Chiefs fans know better.

Only the chickenshit pussies that are worried about what a bunch of ignorant east-coast elitists think about them.

In other words - you.

You're the problem fan. You're the guy that's going that's going to fight to the end and do whatever it takes!!...just as long as the national press gets warm and fuzzies with you for doing it.

You're the fan that the Hunts have bilked out of their hard earned for decades without actually trying to win games. You're the fan that guys like Pioli rely on when they're making half-assed efforts to 'improve' the roster when they're really only trying to protect their jobs.

The Chiefs would be a better franchise today if there were fewer fans like you.

No one said there wouldn't be collateral damage in The Great Expunging of Pioli.

'zilla got a bit too close to the grenade.

PR is smart and I've applauded him and Saveourchiefs for the wise decision to scale back on the negativity.

You have to realize that the strength of this movement, like any movement, is about numbers. And you lose numbers if you don't appeal to homers and apologists. It turns a mass movement into a niche faction of disgruntled, unreasonable fans if you're not careful.

And on the Cassel booing, I think you're oblivious to how many homers and Cassel defenders there are out there. If not the player, at least as a person.

'zilla, writers like Mellinger are appealing to a wide base; his audience is not CP.

Thus, you're underestimating the wealth of negativity directed at the franchise at this point.

The homers and apologists will be back - they're always back (that's what makes them homers and apologists).

They'll cheer for the next guy, and the one after him and the one after him.

Who cares about the lemmings? We'll make more.

20K diehards make plenty of noise and those guys should still be there booing the hell out of Matt Cassel every time he takes the field. The butthurt Cassel-Backers will get over it as soon as someone else gets under center, just like Bono, and Grbac before Matty Lite came on the scene.

No, I'm the one trying to be reasonable here to say that a terrific protest can be undermined by a few idiots who go overboard. If you don't see that by now with the Cano incident and especially with the Cassel incident, then you have your head in the sand.

The Cassel incident matters. Because it re-energized the Cassel homers and KC apologists. And it reduced otherwise terrific traction from the saveourchiefs movement. I don't care about these people's feelings. I care about them drumming up enough sympathy that this front office that is so desperate to find excuses is going to find a way to use the actions of a few idiots to save their jobs.
