And have you watched the Cavs lately? This isn't their normal coasting to the playoffs. They're legitimately bad and Lue literally has no idea what he's doing. I don't think they'll make the finals unless they step it up majorly in the finals.

I think Blatt has more fingerprints on last year's championship than he gets credit for. It's an absolute shame the way he was treated and I hope he gets another nba coaching job soon.

I don't think Lue is a terrible coach. Probably average. But Blatt had his guys overplaying. When you see JR Smith put so much heart into defense that he can barely shoot, that's coaching. Lue is content with his guys chucking 3s then coasting in transition defense. I hope I'm wrong. But I think a tough team like Boston will expose how soft this team became without Blatt.

In 2016 they went 19-10 after the break

The Cavs system literally can't function without LeBron. They've built the system entirely dependant on him and him only. That's why their +/- is so horrendous when he's off the court even though they still have good players around him. He's going to need to play 40 minutes every game in the playoffs for them to win.

I suppose it is somewhat interesting that LeBron and the Cavs had to play 73 games that LeBron and the Cavs didn't give a shit about. What that means for actual games of meaning, I'm still not sure.

It's probably more because he's the best player in the NBA by a country mile and has a massive impact on any game he plays in while Kyrie Irving/Kevin Love are nowhere near good enough to lead a good team, but sure.
