Bungie Destiny

Didnt see this posted anywhere.

Bungie's Destiny Will be Revealed in 5 Days

Mark your calendars for this Sunday, February 17.

by Lucas M. Thomas
February 12, 2013

Yesterday we brought to you the news that a reveal of Bungie's next project, Destiny, was being hinted at for this upcoming Monday, February 18 – an augmented-reality game on the studio's website seemed to be pointing toward that date. Well, we won't have to wait quite that long. It's now been announced that Destiny will be unveiled one day earlier than we thought, on this Sunday, February 17.
An official Facebook page went live today and made that announcement as its first order of business. A Twitter account for the game has also been activated as well.
And if all that isn't enough to get you hyped, have a first look at the game's just-revealed logo as well:

Yep, as much as I do enjoy the shooting mechanics of the game, the fact you play the same shit over and over and over. PLUS, the crap that Bungie has done the last 2 weeks, it really makes me wonder why I play. I haven't ordered Taken King yet and am wondering if I should.

Just purchased Borderlands handsome edition for 30 bucks to see if it my fill the void for me.

I think if ghorn really had been available at his reset, hundreds or thousands of people would have seen it before it was pulled and we'd have multiple videos of it online. Not just one guy who was apparently the only person in the entire world.

We'll see what they do Friday.

Xur wasn't selling a weapon for like the first time ever. And they didn't add one. It just all makes sense

I just need proof. There really isn't any evidence for anything beyond xur being glitched and they either could not or would not fix it. Like I said, if ghorn had been there and if they had pulled it (at 2am studio time - who would even have been there to make the call?), I just can't envision a scenario where only one person would have witnessed it. Even if they managed to go oh shit and pull it in, for the sake of argument, one minute, there are thousands of players online and hundreds looking for xur at his spawn time. No way there's only one screenshot and no way do we not have 'omg he finally has ghorn again' all over the net by 4:02 central (about when the no weapon posts show up).

I would guess it's a more conventional screw-up and because everybody was already pissed about the nerfs they just assumed the worst, but who knows. Maybe there is something to the conspiracy theory. Either way, curious to see what they do Friday. If they do anything.

The gun play and movement mechanics in Borderlands made me want to come back to Destiny. It's just to damn clunky. The story is always really good though.

Rocket League has been a ton of fun though and Planetside is a good time waster.

I'm stoked about the Taken King. A new raid is pretty much all I need with all future expansions.

And I finally got to the Lighthouse this morning. Scored a solar Messenger.

Yeah, Borderlands definitely takes some getting used to. I'm not doing well so far. May have to team up with 3 others at some point.

Weapons and gear are irrelevant in regular crucible. There really isn't a weapon difference. Get you a pulse rifle. Sit back at a distance and go nuts.

I need to know what activity will drop the most level 20 blue engrams? My hunter is level 20 but has no light except one exotic. So I want to use my warlock to farm blues for my hunter.
