I wouldn't say that. I'd probably rather the Cowboys win it all over anyone left in the AFC. That was just a hideous, hideous call in a key situation by a group of officials that is supposedly rated among the best in the league. Just awful. No excuse for it.

I was cheering for the Cowboys, mind you. But as a football fan, that was sickening. The NFL is going to die to me pretty soon. What a terrible product it's quickly becoming.

Might have to wait for the Seahawks to send the Cowboys home.

The play of the game should be the penalty play - Fox broadcast screwed it up

The other one that pissed me off just as bad was the defensive holding against #25. He took the guy down inside of 5 yards before a pass was thrown. Why was that a penalty?

Also, they HAVE to do something about the automatic first down on defensive holding. What's the difference between that and intential grounding? A receiver has to be in the ****ing area.

blah blah blah

I was rooting for the Cowboys as I have ALWAYS been the CP Romo fan. ALWAYS.

That was AWFUL AND ****ING RIDICULOUS.

The call was announced, on the field, as a penalty.

Replay shows it as DPI.

You can faceguard, but as soon as you make contact with the receiver while not playing the ball it becomes DPI.

You can be ridiculous sometimes.

It was DPI, it was announced as DPI ... and then, without explanation, 20 seconds later, it was rescinded.

AWFUL

So you'd rather let them make just as "hideous" a call and call DPI, when there was contact - including a facemask which is automatic PF - by the TE as well?

When there's contact both ways, it's not surprising to see no call.

The guy who overreacts to everything calling me ridiculous while not bothering to mention the facemask on Pettigrew.

Priceless.

Looking forward to your takes next weekend when Romo takes on the most overrated QB of our generation.

Dez Bryant was also on the field with no helmet on.
