The Motorcycle Discussion Thread
I figure there are some motorcycle guys/gals on CP, so I thought we could have a place to talk all things Motorcycles.
Tire Mount and Balance Prices (as of 10/29/16) Prices based on if you remove the wheels yourself and bring the wheels and new tires with you: Cycle Gear - $35 per wheel if you buy tires from them. $58 per wheel if you buy tires elsewhere Rawhide - $65 per wheel (assuming it would be the same at other HD dealers. they book it at 1/2 hr per wheel) C R Cycle Tires (DeSoto) - $30 per wheel Cheapest I've found my Michelin Commander II's. Seem like they have good prices on other brands too. http://www.jakewilson.com - Free 3 day shipping on orders over $75 Last edited by Dayze; 10-29-2016 at 09:02 PM.. |

Not only do those ducatis have great performance, they have managed to make a good looking sports bike. I feel like every crotch rocket around uses the same bug to take their styling ques from. That Ducati though.... Damn.

Speaking of sport bikes. I didn't realize KTM made a sport bike. The RC 390 is a pretty good looking bike.
Does anyone know anything more about them?

Don't know much about the Duke RC390 but I rode a friend's super Duke about 4 years back. Holy shit. . Was super fun . Sounded ridiculously good.

Yeah, so I'm an idiot. Rode my bike to work Wednesday and when I went to ride it this morning I had left the key on. It was dead as a door knob. Hoping I didn't ruin the battery and it will take a charge, because I would really like to ride it down to Bikes Blues & BBQ.

My brother is finally wanting a motorcycle. I found this thing for him on Craigslist. Hope it is still there next month when he gets his bonus check.

some items on the maintenance schedule to maybe think of / think to ask the seller (if he even knows)...or be prepared to inspect himself (your brother)
and looks like NADA is not representative of market value. Market is much higher, north of 4k for bikes with similar miles. looks like service schedule is every 6k 6k https://www.ascycles.com/2/pdf/Servi.../R1200C_6K.pdf 12k https://www.ascycles.com/2/pdf/Servi...12K_Annual.pdf
