Sure some of it is skill. Here is a good site that shows his shot selections among other things. 56% of the shots he takes are in the paint.

I would add one more thing. For 99.9% of NBA players making a half-court shot would be luck but when Curry makes them I honestly don't consider it luck. That is how crazy good\skilled he is from long distance.

Like I said, I know it's skill. And because he's consistent, I'm not questioning even in the slightest his shot selection. The attention brought to him on the perimeter opens up unique opportunities for a team offense that 99.9% of players can't provide to teammates.

I get what he and the Warriors are doing. I'm just not as gaga as everyone else is. I don't like overhype. As I've said before, Ive also been the first to shoot down anyone who puts lebron above Jordan, so just so we're clear, I'm not only picking on Curry.

When all is said and done, LeBron will be a top 5 scorer in this league, perhaps a top 25 rebounder, top 10 in assists and top 10 in steals. He will have a shot to win a few more titles and has won a gold medal or two. Curry is a great shooter from anywhere on the court and has solid handles. Anyone who is realistically trying to compare these two is borderline reeruned. Steph wears LeBron underoos and wishes he was the King. Kobe, you could make an argument for him being the best post Jordan, but it's still LeBron.

Fortunately for him he's made a career out of feasting on the pathetic eastern conference...if he was in the WC no way he makes it to so many Finals.

He's kind of like the Buffalo Bills of the NBA.
Don't you have better things to do than trolling LeBron here with absurd arguments, like managing the SB Nation GIF Twitter account?

See, LeBron fans are delusional.

Steph is the unquestioned MVP.

"solid handles"

If LeBron was half the amazing NBA god his dicksuckers say he is, he'd waltz into this finals and D up on Curry one on one and shut his ass down.

Warriors in 5.

Oh, they're not on the same level at all. Even today with Steph peaking and LeBron beginning his decline, I
think most being honest with themselves would admit that LeBron is the better overall player for the sum of what he can do on the court.

Incredibly, LeBron is already 1st in VORP among players from 1973 to now. The guy is going to just shatter records over the remainder of his career. It's too bad that some can't enjoy it/respect it before it is gone.

LeBron is a better defender (though certainly not elite), but Curry is a far, far better jump shooter with far better range.

The rest is a wash where you can make arguments for either being the better passer/ball handler, and with Curry regularly owning him head to head it's not a contest at all, really. Curry is also a hell of a lot more clutch.

It might be different if LeBron had a dominant low post game he could go to like Jordan/Kobe, but true to form he hasn't even developed that beyond mediocrity.

But continue living your fantasy of 1A Jordan and 1B LeBron. Even another brutal Finals embarrassment won't get you off your absurd hero worship. I can't wait for the excuses!

I agree actually. LeBron isn't on Curry's level. Otherwise he'd be FAR better at creating open jumpers for himself to brick. You could build another ****ing gym with all the bricks that fraud has been clangin' the last two years of the playoffs.

As for passing, yes Curry is on LeBron's level. He could absolutely smoke him in assists if he wasn't such a good scorer. Even as it is now, over the last three years LeBron averages 6.8 assists per 36 minutes to Curry's 7.96. Suck it.

What's the record for career finals losses?

There's a reason why he hasn't won the majority of his trips to the finals, he enjoys dominating the pathetic East for a free trip every year and then stumbles when he comes across the more dominant West where the teams are actually good.

Finals record again? Seriously? This is just an awful post that had absolutely nothing to do with the post of mine you quoted. I mean I thought Clay's posts were bad, but I expect trolling LeBron from him.
