I have Luck, and there's no other QB I'd choose to start a franchise, but he doesn't really put up gaudy stats. I wonder how he'll fare this coming Sandbox season with minimal offensive weapons.

I'm banking on using the no names. I say that cause I'm forced into it though too. Do you guys' remember how the nn seemed to fair just fine vs. the megastars'?
My 3rd string QB won the last 2 games for me to get me to .500. I guess I don't understand how some of these guys' are getting bid up into the stratosphere. Richard Sherman's good, but he isn't all that. A quick look @ stats, well a couple weeks ago anyways, he was close to #10. He's up now, but not @ the top.

Can someone point me to the post that has how FA contract works.
Say I bid $36 on a WR and I get him. Does that mean that I sign him to a 3 year or 4 year contract because it's in between the 28 and 46? Does it just round up? |

It truncates to the lower number of years.

Yes, that's my understanding. The extra $8 is the premium you paid for winning the bidding war. Usually when I decide to overbid someone, I just take it up to the next contract year level unless it's a really old player on his last leg.

So, how is IR going to work this season?
Edit* And now that I think about it, how will it work in general? Will we be able to place an injured player on IR during Sandbox offseason? Take my situation for example. In two hours, I lost three wide receivers for the season. Will I need to carry six or seven (minimum) receivers on my roster in anticipation of losing them? If I IR them and they come off my roster in the offseason, do I get any of their time? If a street FA is used, do they count toward your roster at any point? I need to replace my entire receiving corps and don't know what the intended process is, or if there even is one yet... Last edited by brorth; 11-19-2013 at 12:36 PM.. |

Where do RTs fit in the tier system? I see that LTs are Tier 2 free agents, but I don't see RT anywhere.
