The two best QBs in the AFC are left to play for the right to play in the Super Bowl. Not shocking.

Every team that has won their playoff matchup has had the better QB. Unless you have an elite defense the better QB is more often than not gonna win the matchup. It's not rocket science.

I don't know where you put Smith on that scale but Chiefs are caught between 2 realities; A guy who can get you to the play-offs but guy who cant get you through it.

Now this team yesterday was off. Dropped balls, missed open receivers, not blocking on runs,pass or return game. The defense could not stop Bell or Ben often enough to win based on the lack of offensive production.

Not totally opposed to this as it would free up some cap space to maybe re-sign Jamaal or Poe or Berry. But if you think he's the answer to going into New England in January and trouncing Brady, that's highly questionable.

Alex Smith is fine if you want to win regular season games and don't care about being a legitimate Super Bowl contender.

Get a grip, its a team game and Alex did not play his best but NOBODY on that O helped him out in anyway whatsoever!
