Truex is flying.
Joe Gibbs Toyota cars horsepower is horrible this year. Although, Truex's Toyota is doing great. Truex was 2.+ seconds faster than Kyle's car. If they were racing an F1 car 2 seconds behind loses the race. 1 sec. behind is hard to make up. Edit: This NASCAR race started on Sunday, it is now Monday.

Sorry, missed it all. Not that I'm a fan of the Indy 500 anymore (not while F1 is racing on city streets, and because of the all-but-covered rear wheels nowadays [just a bad look]), I usually try to watch because of what it once was. Looking at the coverage today it looks like it wasn't even a sellout. WTF! I blame Manning for killing Indy!

It's the typical sports venue now, with a lot of "fan zones" where casual fans hang out socializing instead of watching sports. I sat inside of the main straight a few years back and their interior area is full of bars and tabletops and women flood it in droves so they can drink and "hang out". I don't get it but casual fans take to it

It's like the Superbowl, 90% of the crowd are dick-holes who just have the money to put into something they can SnapFaceGramChirp.. I should add the excessive use of Snapchat, Facebook, Instagram, and/or Twitter (more than two updates a week, and never about the same topic in six months) to things that make somebody an asshole which now stand at heat, humidity, and the lack of green grass to walk in... |

Formula 1 Sunday, 11 June, 2:00 PM Commentary On The Track The race course is situated on an island in the city of Montreal. The circuit is quite fast, but the race track itself is not as challenging as other tracks. It can be quite a strain on the drivers due to high temperatures and the high full throttle quota. Also, there are not enough run-off zones, and the wall outside the exit to the final chicane called "wall of champions" is particularly challenging - if you get it wrong, it may result in an early retirement from the race. Two Critical Points L'Epingle (turn 10): Extremely tight right-hander vital to catch the right line and carry momentum onto the following straight. Tight chicane (turn 12): Dangerous and hardest braking point - after fast straight - get it wrong and your race ends at the "Wall of Champions." The 2009 Canadian Grand Prix was dropped from the calendar following the failure to reach a deal with F1 CEO Bernie Ecclestone. The government refused to pay the increased fee that they were faced with on renewal of the contract. However, after further discussions a deal was brokered that saw the popular event making a return in 2010.
