I don't mind helping, if you are an F1 fan.

Engineer communications to a driver during a race:

"Box the car" Bring the car to pit.

"Box, box, box" A clear message to the driver that he must pit immediately - Otherwise, known as an emergency stop.

The engineer uses a lot of short British terminology during a race over a driver's radio - Besides the technical terminology that is easier to look up.

Been busy this weekend....I did briefly look at the info....Loganos poor finish got me 8th pick..... They went like this....

Guess I'm hoping Dillions race setup is as good as his qualifying setup...

No problem. Instead of going through the entire glossary, I will look through it and tell you what you need to know in order to follow a race. The broadcasters use acronyms.

Off the top of my head: ERS, DRS, ECU, Power Unit, overtaking and the DRS, yaw, power unit, apex, drag, slipstream, slipstream overtake, oversteer, understeer, downforce, gravel trap, slicks, inters.

Also you need to identify the different colors of tires during the race.

Go to Pirelli's F1 website for that information

Thank goodness for all the safer equipment NASCAR has its drivers in and the soft walls.That was a hard hit into the wall. Glad the kid is ok.
