Paul Rhoads appears to be getting his walking papers today. That's what losing to K-State gets you these days.

I'd say big 12 champion only if it's OU with the one loss.

And Iowa's probably in for a rude awakening whoever ends up winning our division. I think they lose no matter whether it's osu, msu or u of m.

Clemson (assuming they win out)
Big Ten Champ (unless its Mich)
Big 12 Champ (If 1 loss team)
SEC champ
If Notre Dame wins, they're in. Oklahoma isn't getting in over Notre Dame after the Irish beat Texas 38-3.

If they lose to Stanford, yeah. If they win, they are in.

Alabama will be in it, nobody is beating Clemson so they are in.

In that scenario, it could come down to Michigan State and Oklahoma. I know who I'd choose.

I dont think thats necessarily the case. I think Ohio State is actually the best team in the Big Ten followed by Michigan and then Mich St/Iowa. Mich State deserves to be where they are at but they should have lost to Mich. It took a grace from god for them to win. Ohio state, on paper, didnt even have as good of a schedule as Iowa did before they played Mich State. This could be a blessing in disguise for Iowa because they get to play the 3rd best B1G team, rather than the 1st OSU or 2nd Mich (at least in my eyes)

I think ND should be left out if Oklahoma runs the table. You shouldnt get the benefit of the doubt by playing less games, and when the other team has more quality victories than you.

If ND and OU both win out, there resumes will be very similar. OU losing to Texas will probably keep them out. Of all the one loss teams, ND has the "best" loss.

Who they lost to and Notre Dame bias is going to keep Oklahoma in the cold. Mostly Notre Dame bias.

Their one loss could have been to a ranked squad and it would still be an uphill battle.

Dont think we should focus so much on how bad a loss is. But how good your wins are.

And the fact that the one OU loss was against a team that Notre Dame wiped out. Obviously rivalry games are a different beast... but I think it's going to be hard to put those two resumes next to each other and ignore it.

How good are OU's wins? So far the Baylor win is looking good, but that was against their backup QB.

A Big XII team has no impact on ND if they beat Stanford, so I wouldn't take the time to compare resumes.

They will be fighting the b1g champion for the last spot.

You keep bringing up the backup QB. The Baylor backup QB went into (vastly over rated) OkSt and put a beat down on them.

Michigan States backup QB beat Ohio State.

Players get injured all the time. Shit happens.
