Tom Brady; least clutch QB in NFL history?

(Slow day at work for me, guys):

Tom Brady:

2005: Gets crushed by Jake Plummer and the Denver Broncos. Plays HORRENDOUSLY. Embarrassingly bad.

2006: Blows an 18 point lead to Peyton Manning in the AFCCG. Plays horrendously, and ends the game in Indy territory throwing a game ending INT to Marlon Jackson. Great clutch play.

2007: 18-1. Scores 14 points in the Super Bowl in a game they are favored to win by 13.5. Also, in the AFCCG against the Chargers, he posted a QB rating of 18 and threw 3 INT's. Very clutch, I know.

2008: KNEE CRUSHER; Cassel wins 11 games as starting QB.

2009: Gets OBLITERATED by Joe Flacco and the Ravens. Loses the game single-handedly in the 1st quarter and posts a WHOPPING QBR OF 4.2. Not a typo. FOUR POINT TWO. FOUR POINT TWO. In reference, Peyton posted a 24.4 last year against Seattle in the Super Bowl. So picture how bad that performance was, and multiply it by about 25.

2010: Lost @ home to MARK SANCHEZ AND THE JETS. But don't worry guys, Tom Brady doubled his QBR in this one and posted a respectable 8.7 EIGHT POINT SEVEN.

2011: Got to the Super Bowl by beating Tim Tebow, playing HORRENDOUSLY against the Ravens (again) in the Lee Evans game, and then overthrowing Welker to lose another Super Bowl. Clutch.

2012: Got obliterated by Joe Flacco and the Ravens despite being favored by 7. He posted a respectable 40 QBR, though, and only lost by 15 ... despite Peyton beating the team the week before only to be Rahim Moore'd. Great clutch play.

2013: Beat Andrew Luck despite throwing 0 TD's. Lost to Peyton Manning, while playing another mediocre game. 1 TD. Very clutch, Mr. Brady!

So, in short, the biggest playoff choking QB in the NFL right now is Tom Brady. In all of those aforementioned choke jobs, he was favored to lose TWICE, both to Peyton Manning (both losses).

Any more myths you want be to bust?

4.2 QBR and 8.7 QBR is Rex Grossman bad, in case anyone wanted a reference point.

You want me to believe that is clutch QB play?
Alex Smith would have you believe it, I'm sure. His dream offensive possession.

Brady - 2 game winning playoff drives since 2005
Manning - 1 game winning playoff drive since 2005 (against Brady - where Brady could've won the game with a TD but threw a pick instead)

Try and keep up. Stop referencing Tom Brady and his spygate stats. That was a team effort where he was the game manager of the offense who knew the defensive signals. Hardly fair to include those in this discussion.

So in reality you have nothing.

You can't describe why Mr. Clutch hasn't won a Super Bowl in 10 years and has had some very, very ugly postseason games that resulted in losses (in heavily favored games).

Thought so.

Its so entertaining watching hootie flail around in these embarrassing threads. He just can't comprehend that his opinions aren't fact, so he throws a bb tantrum by spamming his own thread with his stupid ****ing opinions.

It's so funny watching people try and attack my opinion rather than trying to answer the question at hand.

I gave everyone the past 10 years of Tom Brady and his playoff performances and all anyone could give me was "he is awesome and clutch!" because he started his playoff career 9-0, 10+ years ago, during the Spygate era and an era in which he had the best defense in the NFL (according to the Patriots fans on this board) and the best coach (according to Patriots fans on this board).

But please, keep attacking me. I'm the one stating facts, read the OP, and try and come up with something intelligent to add to the thread.

Yes, youre stating facts by telling us to ignore the stats that dont support your stupid ass opinion.

Truth is, I dont care what you think. Manning has been a choker his entire career. I've watched him do it. I dont care that you think Rodgers is grossly overrated. I dont care that you think Brady is the biggest choker in NFL history. All of your sports opinions are embarrassing and 99% of sports fans are laughing at your stupidity.

I don't have nothing. I have facts. Most postseason wins, most postseason gwds, highest completion percentage in a playoff game, most super bowl passing yards, most completions in super bowls, most consecutive completions in a super bowl, and most attempts without an int in super bowls. These are facts.

As far as why they haven't won a super bowl lately, it's pretty obvious the patriots don't exactly surround brady with talent, certainly not like peyton's teams have.

Oh, and I started two threads JSP:

IS Tom Brady the biggest choker in NFL history?
IS Aaron Rodgers grossly overrated?

Never did I ever say they were these things. I started topics to engage conversation about these wonderful QB's.

Very talented guys; not sure why they get every pass in the world when other guys like Manning and Romo do not. Especially Manning.

Learn how to read, guy.

Just to butt in here, I had this conversation with you months ago and at no point did I give Brady a pass, bring up Brady, or compare Manning to Brady.

As soon as I said something bad about Manning you lost your mind and ranted on and on about Brady. Even after I corrected you and pointed out you are arguing with the air because Brady isn't part of the discussion, you still persisted.

I have serious doubts Brady gets a pass. Most of that 'clutch' shine has worn off since early in his career. In the end Brady.

What I've seen from you is that any time Manning is disparaged in any way you start talking about Tom Brady. When I saw this thread, I just presumed it was more of that same reactionary behavior from you because someone disparaged your man-god.

Peyton will never equal Brady's SB wins.

Hell, Peyton will never equal his little brother's SB wins.
