Like the Washington nationals have any where near the fan base as the cardinals or giants is absolutely absurd........

He pitched one bad game. Actually hewas pitching 2 gems until the 7th. The 7th in the first game was no excuse, he just blew it. 2nd game, he had to be dead tired.. Don should have took him out after the 2nd hit, but it is what it is. Ill still take my chances with him on my staff. He will get you to the post season. He just has to remember he's human sometimes and if he's tired say hey, im tired.
The reason why we lost was because the issue the DOdgers had all season and that was being one of the worst hitting teams with RISP all season. The dodgers were 1-47 when losing after the 7th inning. If the Dodgers gave any of their pitchers outside of game 1 any kind of run support they would be a game 5. To dodger fans, this isnt shocking that they lost. When you have runners on, you have to bring them in. Remember they scored 3-1-2 in games 2-3-4. Thats not good. |

Anyone who is bashing Kershaw today is a ****ing idiot that knows nothing about baseball. Idiot. He pitched the best game of the series last night. Better than Lackey or Greinke. The Cardinals hit two balls hard against him that game--the double play that Adams grounded into and the homer that Adams hit. The three hits were all moderately hit at best. Prior to that, he had walked two batters and hit one. On three days rest, that is an absolutely dominant start.
Yeah, Greinke didn't give up any runs but he also gave up several hard hit balls, walked a few, and hit a batter. Peralta, and Jay both lined out hard, Wong hit a rocket into the RF corner, Carpenter hit a rope to center in the sixth which was followed by Jay hitting a seed right to Ramirez. If you actually watched the comparative command of the zone and looked at the batted ball profile, Kershaw outpitched Greinke, he just had one of his two mistakes get crushed (the other was a middle-in fastball to Matt Carpenter that he swung through in the 6th).

People not associated with SF and STL don't care to see them. You seem to have trouble understanding the actual argument, nobody said DC had a "larger fan base".
Neither team has anyone interesting to watch. Nobody to like or hate. At least Bonds and Pujols were lightning rods. Who in, say, Michigan is itchin to see Tim Hudson face off against Matt Holliday? Exactly nobody. Not one soul. As across the US |

The Cardinals have made four straight NLCS. The giants have won the past two even year'ed world series. You don't have to have a lightening rod type player to have intrigue across the country. I just don't agree with your premise Prison Slut.

I bash Kershaw because I hate the Dodgers. I'm not an idiot. He's amazing.
I'm trying to see what it feels like to bash greatness like everyone does with, you know, that one QB |
