I figured you would throw those out....lets take a look....

1935 - Named Co-National Champion by the Williamson System along with LSU. SMU was named National Champion by the Dickinson System which was favored at the time. Princeton and Minnesota also claim a National Championship from this season by other poll systems active at the time.

1938 - Tennessee was also named - Toss up
