This argument is just dumb.
So maybe he hasn't been knocked out of a game yet by bad blocking.

But it sucks to see him having to run around and take hard hits, sometimes even against pretty mediocre teams, just to keep drives alive because of bad blocking.

That is not a recipe for a 15+ year career (see Luck).

For sure.

Nobody is saying he can't get hurt. He absolutely can. And it definitely could happen because of bad line play. It could also happen for any number of reasons not related to line play.

Guys get hurt. It can happen.

But to act like it WILL happen is just another example of the stupid defeatist attitude that infects this place, especially after a loss.

Ah that's correct, so 2 rough games against the run out of 6 and KC has the #10 rushing defense and Gay has been out for 4 of those games.

You know what's wild? KC has ran for more yards and a higher average per rush than their opponents. You think KC has a killer run game?

There are things to be worried about like pass rush, the run defense isn't one of them and never has been anyway. You don't beat KC rushing the ball, its been proven repeatedly.

Buffalo won on Josh Allen's arm, period.

I'm surprised you're getting downvoted, I don't see how you're not wrong at first glance.

They have the better edge rusher, the better front 4, the better LT, the better WR, The better RB core..

Jeff Wilson, Eli MItchell, Christian McCaffrey... Any of those three guys would probably be our #1 RB, it's kinda insane their RB room there after this CMC trade.. (Yes Eli's been hurt but their RB room is better.)

It's hard to categorize who has the better overall team but I'd rather have Mahomes with Deebo, Aiyuk, Jennings, CMC, and Kittle, and big Mr. 99 Madden Trent Williams on his blind side, than what we have now.

Because no matter how you want to break it down they haven't played well and aren't that good of a team.

SF has beat Seattle, LA Rams, and Carolina and lost to Denver (), Chicago (), and Atlanta ().

They lost to teams with good defense. We have a shit defense that can't rush the passer for shit. We also have shit at tackle.

Chiefs are better because Mahomes, Reid and Kelce, and because Jimmy G. Nothing wrong with saying their OTs are better, better WRs, RBs, and DL. Their LBs are marginally better, one of few teams, Hufanga is currently playing better than our safeties...

But the QB gap is MASSIVE and that's why we're better.

You consider Chicago and Atlanta to be "good" on defense eh? That says a lot.
