Also, regarding all that exploitation vs Houston... you realize you got 14 points off turnovers that basically had you in the red zone both times, right? Let's not act like the offense totally lit up HOU in a marching them up and down the field kind of way.

Texans had more 1st downs, rushing and passing yards than KC...

Chiefs' drive summary:
7 plays PUNT
(INT) 2 play TD
8 play TD
10 play FG
8 play FG

(FUM) 1 play TD
3 play PUNT
1 play (HALF)
3 play PUNT
6 play PUNT
5 play PUNT
7 play PUNT
4 play Missed FG
6 play PUNT
2 play Game Over

So, yeah ... good thing your defense gave the offense the ball deep twice. That's 15 possessions, minus 2 ending each half - those don't really count.

Leaves 13 drives, with 7 ending in a punt and another a missed FG. KC struck early... good for them. Houston adjusted, while I'm assuming Reid 'went vanilla' on offense and 'played prevent' knowing the win was a foregone conclusion.
KC had 2 drives of more than 40 yards.
HOU had 5.

The 2 turnovers were absolutely the difference in that game.

We should get a lot of strip-sacks this year with our front 7.

Anybody watching the game could see the Chiefs were moving the ball at will in the 1st half. Nice try though.

And we both know Denver doesn't turn it over this year, right?...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Nobody said they weren't moving at will in the 1st half... two big drives resulted in FGs, two turnovers gave you the short field and 14 points.

All that matters is that this offense scored 27 points and had us in position to be at 30 points (our midget kicker missed a chip shot).

Texans were 7th in points allowed last year and added Wilfork. They aren't a bunch of slapdicks.

Yep. But the Mile High Mule Tool is pulling stats out of his donkey tooling ass to fit his agenda. Maybe he never heard of getting up BIG then coasting due to a short week. Probably no stat for that...

Its called blind arrogance... The things that concern me most about this game are that the Chiefs will be starting a rookie CB and a patch - work OL. But even with that, I think we have enough to win.

Chiefs 30, Donks 17

Manning has had our number for years, but I think this is the year we finally get him. I feel confident that we will be able to put two halves together against the Donks. Let's win this thing.

I need to watch the Broncos hour long replay on NFL network.

The defense is legit but I need to see just how clunky the Denver offense was.
