One thing that bugs me about the MVP vote thing is that, if you get in a group that have a lot of people from the same guild, they always vote for somebody in their group, even if you outplay them.

I tore up a Huttball match with my IA by a wide margin, only to have zero MVP votes.

Anyway, been trying out other classes right now in PvP.
So far:

IA- Operative
Sith Inquis - Assassin
Trooper - Commando

I really want to try a Sith Juggernaut/Jedi Knight Guardian for the guard feature.

AFter that, either a Trooper Vanguard or Bounty Hunter Powertech.

Having fun so far, but Empire seems to dominate the warzones I have played in when on the Republic side.
I keep playing Republic because of the faction in balance. So Empire heavy.

People are reporting that the ability delay issue has been quietly fixed in today's patch. Since I've never seen the issue myself, I can't confirm or deny that.

They said they were going to do it on their developer blog, I'm happy they kept their promise. Now I will get to experience the full potential of a Combat sentinel. This game has continuously kept growing on me and it just seems to get better and better as I level.

I just wish our guild was more active. It's pretty pathetic right now. I ran Maelstrom Prison the other night with some dudes from a different guild and it made me remember how awesome it was running shit with guildies and having a blast on Ventrilo.

I've been so busy with my job the last two weeks, I haven't had much time for more than crafting and space combat early in the morning and late at night. I'm looking forward to getting back into it, although it looks like I'm going to run into the same guild problem that you describe. I'm still the only 50.

Our guild has 50's with 50 alts. I'm only 33 so I have no clue what the hell they are talking about half the time.

Yeah. I'm really bad as far as leveling goes. I've had the game with a week worth of early access and I'm hitting 41 tonight. I just got my 4th companion last night at level 40. He's the guy you're supposed to get between 32 and 34.

You can get to fifty really, really fast if you skip the cutscenes (which I generally don't, even on my alts). Although I do sometimes skip entire planet arcs since I know I'll get a chance to do it later on another character. I do plan to do all the bonus series' though.

I've got a 50 and a 42.

I've never played an mmo prior to this one which left me with so much soloable content at the cap, and all of it in the 47-50 range. I've got most of Corellia left to do and all of Ilum, and I haven't done any of the late-game bonus series yet (Hoth, Belsavis, Ilum, etc). And I don't think I'm anywhere close to finishing my class story yet.

Weird. Maybe its the servers.

Right now, I am having an extremely hard time choosing my main character. Its really driving me nuts.

If you have an opportunity to join another guild that you think will be more enjoyable for you, feel free to join them. The R53 was setup as an uber casual, non commitment guild. Hell, my play style is usually solo, so I'm probably not the best person to be a guild leader.

The bottom line is that you should do what will make the game most enjoyable for you. No one is going to be offended if anyone leaves for another guild. In fact, when I set up the guild all those months ago, I pretty much expected it.

Besides, we can always come here and shoot the shit about the game.

Respec your assassin down the Darkness tree and you get Guard.

Oh no, I hear you and I know this was just a way for CP members to have someone they can play with at launch. The inactivity is not going to be a big issue for me for quite a while as it's going to take a while for me to reach 50 and then do all the dailies to the point where I feel good about my gear. Once all that is done and I feel like I want to be doing endgame content and our guild is still dead, I'll go ahead and think about leaving then.
