This is a franchise that has made the postseason 10 times in the last 14 seasons.
Reached three World Series in the last decade, and won as many championships (two) the past eight seasons as it did from 1965 to 2005.
Our new Manager has more post season experience than any other manager in baseball, except the Giants manager.
Three million attendance? Take it to the bank.
60 post season wins since 2004. 20+ wins more than any other team.
Only one of the last 14 seasons has been a losing one.

We are starting to see some signs of aging in Molina. He will just try to reach a ball instead of leaping out to get in front of the ball as he has in the past etc.Molina is still the best Catcher in the game. There may be some moving into the same city as Molina but no one lives on his block yet.

It wasn't just us the dude has shut down teams in his last 6 starts. He is example 1 that location of a pitch matters more than the speed of a pitch.

Thats cool. I understand the frustration. Our offense has been very frustrating to watch this year. But when you get to the playoffs its all about pitching. As long as Waino can stay on the field and pitch healthy in the playoffs, our pitching should give us a chance.

David Price is starting tonight down here in Tampa. The Giants, Yankees, Brewers, Orioles and the CARDINALS have scouts in the stands. As per the local TV sports reporter.

I hate to say it, but I think this team is done. The weather is no longer cold, so that excuse won't fly anymore. This team just can't hit. There probably isn't a trade that they can make to fix it. I see a long, frustrating summer ahead.

Pitching overall has still been pretty excellent though which tends to keep things interesting. Offense showed some signs of life but fell back into inability to score runs.

Still don't think another top end starter is really needed. Rather than give up that much for Price I'd much rather see a trade for a bat along like lines a of the Holiday trade a few years ago. Though I have no idea who that might be this year.

There is a lot of parity this year in baseball. Even after all of our stinking up the ball field, we have the 4th best record in the National League. The 4th best record ain't done yet.

Holliday is starting to hit. Molina is showing signs of rebounding. Our pitching will keep us in the race. If out bats get hot at the end...........after 2006 and 2011 when we all had wrote off those teams.......that fat lady isn't even warming up yet.

Someone at the Cardinals FO thinks its a good enough idea to send a scout down to watch him pitch.

This wasn't from some MLB rumor blogger. A local TV guy. Someone told him for whatever reason which teams scouts were there. Assuming it was because he's local, made some contact in the local Rays FO. Maybe the FO preparing the Rays fans for the bad news in about a month.
