Yes the by the book coaching strategy says to run the ball and kill some clock, but with 5 minutes or so left in the game, they had an opportunity to be more aggressive on first or second down.
Yeah he's terrible. Not going for it on fourth and a foot and a half from the goal line early in the game was really bad.

That was an amazing game to watch, we played our worst game of the year by far, but somehow found a way to win. When you are fortunate enough to retrieve an onside kick you better take advantage of it. And my Hawks sure did. Such a nerve racking mess of a game, but it was a blast when we converted the 88 yard touchdown drive in OT.

Once it went to overtime and we got the ball first I knew Rodgers would never see the ball.. I didn't expect it to happen so fast, but Russell Wilson is so incredibly clutch in those situations I had no concerns.

That onside kick was the luckiest gift we've had in a while, we really should have lost that game.

I still say the NFL should modify OT so that the second team gets a chance to beat (not tie) the first team's score. So if Seattle kicked a FG GB would need a TD or game over. Imagine that game if Rodgers had a chance to March down and get 8 pts.

If Seattle scores and goes for 2 they win outright. But they'd be exposing themselves to losing to a TD if they missed the conversion.
