More fan fiction.

Why don't you outline what a fair trade is now? Let's hear it.
Of course you did. You told us how Veach wasn't aggressive and there were teams like the Ravens who did what needed to be done to improve their offense with weapons. The clear implication is that OBJr was worth it, no?

I think we'll end up with a 2nd and a 4th or 5th. I won't jump up and down about the value we've gotten but that's the market and I'd look forward to seeing Veach's counterplay. No one was jumping up and down about the trade comp we got from the Dolphins with the Tyreek trade. The majority were initially super unenthused about it while the remainder were understanding, and over time it made more sense and worked out.

Sneed has value. But if we got less than most thought made sense at the time for Hill, you think we're getting more for Sneed? Hard to believe.

And if Veach says a 2 and a 4 aren't enough and wants to roll the dice on this season and a potential holdout, so be it. I trust the guy at the helm.

I wanted OBJ when we were talking 9-11 million.

the 15 was ridiculous and that was the Ravens sending a thank you card to Lamar for screwing him over for multiple years.

So to be clear, you think a 2nd a 4th for the top man cover corner for Sneed is a fair trade?

You. Can. Read. The. Above. No?

Re: OBJ - so you just like to complain after the fact without any actual details involved. That's kinda how we all pegged you but now it's nice to have some evidence. Can't wait for more of the "we could've signed this cheap vet" nonsense from you next season.

Just keep making stuff up because I was beating your head against the concrete in the argument.

Sorry, the WR room last year sucked and you couldn't stop defending shitty players.

We seem to have been somewhat screwed on Jones indecision last off season so I think they want to avoid that this time to better build the roster they want with or without him. Hence they will do whatever they can to get something done to avoid the possibility of him being forced to play on the tag or maybe hold out.

Pretty sure he’s made it clear that’s what he thinks the market value will be for him. What you or anyone else thinks is “fair” (whatever that means) really doesn’t matter. The questions that are relevant here are:
1. What can he net in a trade; and
2. Would the Chiefs prefer the trade return plus cap room or the player.

That’s the analysis that will be going on here.

Whether you like it or not that's his resume and will dictate his price tag and trade value. Some people on here hoping for a 1st rd pick for him will be disappointed bc as much as we want it to happen it probably won't.

I like both Jones and Sneed. Keep one and build the offense back.

If we have to give him away I would rather just keep him.

Yes. Because my argument the entire time was that we won a SB with this group of WRs last season and we can do so this season as well. And look at how that ended up - another SB championship and a ban for you because you approach people on this board like a complete child.

It was so hard tussling with you.

2nd and a 4th isn’t “giving him away.” Keeping him also comes with financial commitments that restrict flexibility to pursue signings elsewhere (like maybe that alpha WR you talk about).

Yeah, the offense was the same as last year...

Whoops.

Wrong.

Nope. The argument was that the team as a whole was built in such a way that they would develop over the course of the season and find a way to win given Mahomes, a really solid defense, and great coaching.

Right.
