Soooooo... Dorsey is a butt****ing moron, right?

All these CBs available at the top of the 2nd round.

The 33rd and 35th overall picks.

He takes Denzel Ward at #4 overall.

Nice ****ing job, you prick. Oh, and by the way, YOU DRAFTED BAKER MAYFIELD #1 OVERALL YOU CHOAD.

I'm beginning to think Eric Fisher wasn't just "There wasn't anybody good!" It was just Dorsey trying to be smarter than everybody else.

Haven't seen Veach make any draft picks yet, but knocking on wood, he's gotta be better than Dorsey, right?

Its the Mayfield pick that was risky IMO. I never had an issue with him taking the best CB on the board. They have Myles Garrett, you know the #1 overall pick in 2017...

And hey, they can probably get another nice peice on D this coming draft too.

They're probably going LT first...Dorsey is likely going to spend a lot of capitol on offense because he needs Mayfield to succeed.

Im not sold on Mayfield. I thought he may be the "best" of his draft class, but I am of the opinion that none of the QB's who came out last year would / will amount to anything special... Let's see how he does when a team has a game plan designed specifically for him, rather than just coming in as the back-up. Far different animal. Shoot - Tom Savage looked good in relief. So did Brock Osweiler and Hoyer. Kind of different when you are the guy from the get go and a team has a whole week to prepare. Just my opinion. Time will tell....

They definitely had to take a qb, and I think it was easily darnold or baker. And I'm not that high on darnold. Keep in mind this is a team that passed on Wentz, mahomes, and Watson. Imagine the pitchforks for Dorsey's head if they sold in tyrod Taylor as the only option based on what we've seen so far.

I think mahomes has spoiled us for other qbs. Watching around the league the Dalton and daks and Flaccos of the NFL... I don't think baker has that high of a bar for what Cleveland needs right away. I don't think he will be great. But I could see him being average.

I totally agree. And with being "average" he may have the best career of his draft class. Also, because of his personality, he may appear to make "average" seem better than it actually is.

Not everyone can have Rodgers or Brady or Brees. Somebody has to have the completely average game managers like Dak, Flacco, and Dalton. So it’s pretty much a lottery. A few franchises get lucky in each generation of QB’s while the others are just “meh.”

He had 3 picks in the top 35 including two top 5.

It’s not that difficult. Even Elway had a good haul drafting at the top of every round.

Have you seen our defense? When he boss the draft on that side? Jones is it after 5 years.

Even if you want to claim CP posters are no better than just throwing darts at a draft board, are you really going to sit there and tell me you wouldn't take random darts thrown at a board over more than 75% of those Carl Peterson drafts?

It all comes down to worth ethic and accuracy for Baker. His ceiling is Drew Brees now the chances of him reaching that is the question, he definately looked a lot better then Darnold. He was making quick reads and putting the ball in tight windows.

Have to include that it was in one of the better drafts for overall talent. Not like a draft where your debating between Joeckel and Fischer and no team was willing to offer anything to get your first pick. If you wanted multiple 1's to move out of the top 4 you could easily have gotten that instead because there were a number of guys who were considered can't miss or play the QB position.

Marcus Peters was a Dorsey pick.

So was Dee Ford. And Kpass...and...

Gee, Dorsey really didn't draft much defense, did he?

DUSTIN MOTHER****ING COLQUITT MOTHER****ER

In point of fact, it wasn't as bad as he gets credit for. Zilla threw up a giant white knight defense of Squirmin Herman Mother****ing Sack of **** Edwards once. So instead of letting it go like a well adjusted human. I melted down and argued with him for 3 days (treasonous ****ing hogshit like that cannot go unmitigated). In doing so I looked up all the personnel for Vermeils last team and Squirmin Herman Mother****ing Sack of **** Edwards last team. And the draft records were remarkably similar.
