There inlies the problem. Gruden has won a SB with the Bucs. There still has not be a HC to win a SB with two different teams. There has to be the first and all that stuff. I respect Gruden as a good coach, but I don't see him as a greatly exceptional coach that would definitely change that history.

Carr's biggest issues have existed before even this season. The guy is scared of the slightest bit of pressure. Fortunately for him he didn't have to face vey much of it from '15-'16 with the way their line played.

He plays scared and conservative when he can't just sit in the pocket comfortably.

A random fact relating to Gruden supposedly being an innovative offensive genius who will magically fix Carr... Gruden didn’t have the shotgun formation in his playbook until his last year or so in Tampa (and even then he used it sparingly).

Just shows how different the NFL is now than when he last coached 10 years ago (and it wasn’t like his offenses were anything more than average/mediocre in Tampa).
