St. Louis wins their first outdoor game 4-1 with an empty netter. Could have been a shutout had it not been for a freak bounce off the ice early in the 1st. Wish I could've been there for it.

It was a good game. Good for St. Louis getting their shot on the big stage and winning. It was also a fluke goal that off of Hjalmarsson that completely turned the tide of the game. Hawks are now 1-4 in outdoor games, don't think they or anyone else would be too upset on getting a year or two off from them. Toews continues to be a nothing in the goal column. Hard to believe that they're in the position that they're in without running at 100%.

Yes, the Blues' affiliate in Chicago may be moving to KC.

It was ****ing amazing. Hopefully the Blues will use it as a springboard for the 2nd half of the season.

I'm not gonna lie - that looks like an awful experience.

How the hell can you follow the action from that distance at all? Did the fisheye lense make it look worse in that picture than it was in real life?

That's crazy far away.

Yeah, the pano makes it look way worse.

I had no problem following the puck unless it was behind the goal line in our end - really no different than at Scottrade.

The 200/300 levels at each end were by far and away the best seats in the house. If you sat in the 100's, all you saw were heads skating around.

Atmosphere was electric, and the game was great as well.

This Penguins/Caps game on NBCSN is nuts. There's been 8 goals in about 15 minutes of the 2nd period.

And just as I type that, a 9th. It was 3-0 Caps, then 5-3 Pens, then a 5-5 tie. Now the Penguins scored again, maybe. Under review.
