There will be games we should win and don't and vice versa. 10-6, maybe 11-5 if they get on a hot streak. I see the game in London ****ing them up a bit.

In the offense that Manning has been operating over the course of his career was to limit yac and get him to look for bigger plays through the air, forcing him to hold the ball longer than usual.

You limit yac with good tackling.

Sutton could win and be even more effective under a different HC.

I'm shocked that some of you are still picking straight chalk. Come on. Be creative. The Chiefs are going to beat some very good teams and lose to one or two shitty ones.

My best guess:

Sun, Sep 13 @ Texans 11:00 AM - W
Thu, Sep 17 vs Broncos 6:25 PM - L
Mon, Sep 28 @ Packers 6:30 PM - L
Sun, Oct 4 @ Bengals 11:00 AM - W
Sun, Oct 11 vs Bears 11:00 AM - W
Sun, Oct 18 @ Vikings 11:00 AM - L
Sun, Oct 25 vs Steelers 11:00 AM - W
Sun, Nov 1 vs Lions 7:30 AM - L
(bye)
Sun, Nov 15 @ Broncos 2:25 PM - W
Sun, Nov 22 @ Chargers 6:30 PM - L
Sun, Nov 29 vs Bills 11:00 AM - L
Sun, Dec 6 @ Raiders 2:05 PM - W
Sun, Dec 13 vs Chargers 11:00 AM - W
Sun, Dec 20 @ Ravens 11:00 AM - W
Sun, Dec 27 vs Browns 11:00 AM - W
Sun, Jan 3 vs Raiders 11:00 AM - W

Week 1: The Texans are pig-****ing Patriot Way ****tards.

Week 2: The Donks are a better constructed team under Peyton than we are, especially earlier in the season. New coach/offense or not, they'll still find ways to score on us, and our offense will still find ways to choke.

Week 6: Don't sleep on the Vikings. Their defense will be sneaky-good, and this game will be one of those where they're riding the momentum and end up shocking a few fans. Bridgewater is electric, but he's also capable of Alex Smithing it up against good defenses like ours, and I think that's how they'll get the job done.

Week 10: That being said, Andy Reid teams seem to hit a stride in the middle of the season, and this @Denver will be our turning point game. We'll come back at the Donks a much improved and more seasoned group, whereas I think the Donks are less capable of making that stretch of improvement given what they are and how they'll operate with a CJ Anderson-focused offense. They'll still be very good, but I think we take this one as revenge.

Week 12: The Bills always make my butthole squinch up. I ****ing hate playing them. They're ugly ****ing games, and whenever we win it's usually because we had no business eeking out the victory. Buffalo will have the #1 defense in the NFL this year. That thing is downright ****ing scary.

Week 15: **** the Ravens. And **** the Steelers, too. AFC North powerhouse my ****ing asshole. Those assholes ain't shit. They don't present anything that we can't handle, either on offense OR defense.

Looks like a pretty frustrating season up until the strong finish. But god damn it, they have GOT to come away with a playoff win this year. You can't make a push like that and get everybody riled up only to disappoint the fans yet again.

Wait... what am I talking about? These are the Chiefs. They're capable of disappointing us in ways I never ****ing thought possible.

If Reid was as lucky as he is questionable, we wouldn't even be having this discussion.

We won't win the West until we can get past the Broncos. If we can't do it this season, it likely won't happen.

I take offense at this. In this entire dialogue, there has been not one instance of demagoguery against the Chiefs or Smith. Everyone's takes have been legitimate.

So I ask; what is exactly is the problem?

It's extreme planet...

Guessing 9-7 is being a Debbie downer.

Somehow guessing 11-5 is WAY more credible than guessing 8-8 , despite an o/u of 8.5

Anyone with a middle of the road point of view is shouted down by a group of reeruns on both extremes

Because we are the chuefs

I find it neither perplexing nor odd that Cosmo went for 16-0...

I guessed 8-8 so Im pretty much in line with the objective projections. I dont think its a CP thing though. Id guess if similar polls were held on every NFL teams board you see about a 2-3 game avg over the Vegas number in favor of their team just like you do here.

Yeah and the Royals were projected to win 72 games.

You clearly don't get it.

Totally man....I went with the OVER and still got called Debbie downer etc...

For the supposedly football knowledge here, there's a lack of acknowledgment if that 2-3 game bias you mention. People are acting like their 11-5 homer guess is educated and non biased...when only the very best teams in the league are getting 11-5 as an o/u
