Welp, back on the hate wagon

Who's with me?

**** this franchise in the ****ing neck.

I hate Alex Smith, Eric Fisher, our entire secondary, our dickhole coaching staff, Dee Ford for not being a player who could actually help us, and ESPECIALLY McGlynn.

Davis got hurt and we were down to Grey by that time.

It seems no team is immune to laying an egg this season against a team they have no business doing so.

I cant think of one team that hasn't had a WTF game or 2.

I agree... Fact is though the defender was closing hard to cover. If the ball is thrown, it's possible the ball beats him there and Chiefs get the TD, but it's also possible the CB jumps the route and picks it off.

I'll say again, I agree with you, I think he should have taken that shot and made the throw. But look at this from a "Game Manager" point of view:

It was uncharacteristic of this defense to give up that long drive and that many yards. It was also uncharacteristic of the Raiders to put together a drive like that. They hadn't put a drive like that together one time the entire season - not once. Put those two FACTS together and the smart play, the game manager play - which whether you like it or not has been winning you a majority of your games - is to take the sure points.

If that play had been at the end of the game - down by 4, obviously Smith pulls the trigger.

Meh, teams have games like this.

We should be used to it, though.

This was a piss-poor showing everywhere except for some special teams licks.

Bottom line:

The Faid planned their asses off and played their asses off while KC took three quarters off.
They completely overlooked this game, and it showed. It's a painful lesson; I hope they learned it.

Marty would have taken this team to 13-3, only to lose by 40 in the playoffs.

A short week after playing two extremely physical games against two good teams, and looking down the barrel to a prime time matchup with Denver.

Good grief this place loses its mind.

Wish we would have won it... would have really set us up nicely, but it isn't the end of the world.
