It was lonely here when the Royals gave us a beat down

Shields is great...But he's not the best pitcher of our generation. Mattingly didn't **** up those two games...Kershaw did. This is revisionist history.

You think he's better than Maddux?

Mattingly made many stupid decisions but pulling Kershaw was not one of them,

I think personally he's the best lefty of our generation. Hands down. But I'm partial to pedro. And probably a bit reluctant to say a dodger is the best at any thing......

Either way. If I were a Dodgers fan (gag), Kershaw in the 7th, in both games, was a no brainer.

It's hard to look at these two NL lineups and be intimidated, ESP with the Royals arms. They didn't hit for shit vs us in 7 matchup a. Obv I'm pretty concerned with Baltimores bats and that's without Machado or Steroid Davis in there

Yea when a team wins 11 out of their last 12 playoff games and 7 straight matchups it's easy to see why you would think of them as chumps.

Swept by the Royals. But you obv noticed I talked about their lineup, not their pitching. I know that you caught that distinction.

It was not asinine at all. He's the best pitcher in the league, he was below 100 pitches, and he was throwing a shutout. Every manager of the game would have gone with Kershaw in that same situation.
