Not just done with KC,done with the NFL

Yet another thread and I even went as far tonight that I gave away a very nice Chiefs coat and chiefs stocking cap at the party I was at.Also quit my fantasy football league and am renouncing the NFL as a whole.

Pro football is nothing more than pro wrestling only the stage is 50,000 times larger and the NFL just might get their Luck/Manning rematch and maybe even their Manning/Brady rematch.I ****ing hate to think this shit is rigged but at 51 I've seen much to much over the years and am done being made a fool of.

Oh and lastly this years pro bowl will be a fantasy draft, really, wake the **** up people we're watching another form of Hollywood where some of the actors are paid millions and some are just bit players.

so, either they need to not call too many men in the huddle, or that should've been a penalty on the FG unit (which, at that point is technically still on offense)

either way, I know the rules, thanks.

Senile Blank almost blew it.

Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank was interviewed saying "It is predetermined that these two teams would be here, I wish my team was selected to be in the Super Bowl one day, but these two gentlemen deserve it". And the Giants posted themselves as victors before the game, the NFL claimed it was "an overzealous employee".

In 2000 Art Model, a storied and respected owner of the Baltimore Ravens announced he was selling the team. Miraculously, even with one of the worst offenses in NFL history, and one of the best defenses, won the Super Bowl. And the Ravens were subsequently sold to Steve Busciotti for a record price. What better way to sell a team but to hype it up so much that you can get the highest price for it?

Don't believe this story? Well how about during the 2011 season the Jacksonville Jaguars announce they are for sale. They are featured (for some strange reason) on several prime time games. Which culminated in one of the biggest fixes in NFL history in the "upset" of the Ravens on MNF 12-7. The Ravens magically looked inept, stupid and pitiful as the Jags won by scoring 4 field goals. The following week the team was sold.

Very interesting read, thanks and I love this guy's intro

Quote:
First off, I'm going to begin this blog by stating that I don't have any intentions on changing anyone's mind about the NFL. Nor am I trying to start an argument about who is right and who is wrong.

I already know everyone's argument of "It takes too many people to rig a game", and the all time classic with no viable facts, "They make too much money, why would they jeopardize it?" Arguing about the nature of such things is like arguing about religion and politics. There is no point.

I'm just going to point out several observations I have made over the last few years about the NFL and state my case for why I think the NFL fixes their own games for profit. So if you are already on the defensive ready to discredit all of the evidence I am about display without actually bringing up facts that go against my arguments (like a normal discussion should be) then move on.

So if you have any documented facts, I would like to hear them. If you agree with me afterwards great, if you don't that's cool too, follow me on Twitter @shark702 and we can continue the discussion there. But again, let's talk, not insult each other. If you are the type of person who hates being lied to, was upset to find out as a kid that Santa wasn't real and that WWE is fake than please read on and I would love to hear your opinions.

If they were really trying to dick us, we'd have seen several PI calls against us when they were chucking it all over the field at will in the second half... did they miss a few calls that would've helped us? Yes, but nothing egregious IMO.

I dont recall being irate about anything other than our defense shitting the bed last night... the Chiefs simply lost the game... no boogeyman, no conspiracy, no fix.

I'm still a bit groggy, but I seem to remember being generally pleased with the officiating last night, it definitely wasnt some flagfest, they let them play for the most part.

No use in trying to convince the reeruns on this forum or in the general public. Most people live their lives happy with whatever bullshit is fed to them from those who are in power, i.e., government, organized religion, or the partially rigged nfl. I don't believe every game, and every called is fixed or eschewed to favor a certain outcome, but the NFL does find ways to swing games in a certain direction or another. Do we remember when we had the substitute refs calling the shots a few years ago during the strike? It seems some of the NFLs favorite teams were not getting the benefit of the doubt, and I seen Rodgers, and Brady whining about the outcomes of games. The marquee teams were tanking before the reg refs got back and righted the ship. Any how to question the nfl is some fans eyes is to question the immense amount of time, money and energy they have spent watching games, calling radio shows, debating friends, buying big screen tvs, hosting super bowl parties, and etc. Basically if the games were rigged even the slightest then that would fly in the face of everything a true nfl fan thinks they know, learned or heard. Please don't take the blinders off, the truth is sometimes to hard for us simple minded folk, and it hurts.
