Anyone liked Superman Returns? It's on Spike right now. I liked it before at least somewhat. What anyone else thought of it.

40% on RT 144 reviews... metacritic 48 overall.
Funny a rolling Stone review by Travers is 63 on metacritic but is counted as rotten on RT. Probably better than BVS but not as good as WW. Sounds like this movie should've been longer too. |

I think WB probably over course corrected based on BvS length and the complaints about its slow pace. They wanted a film that was faster paced and under 2 hours.

A buddy of mine saw this tonight and said it was fun and enjoyed it. Not epic by any means but enjoyed the league and said it could've used more time for the plot.he gave it a 7/10 and said it gave him some hope for future movies |

I saw it last night and this is exactly my thoughts. I think they were hurt by not having individual movies for each character. Cyborg comes off really flat because of this. Aquaman and Flash overcome some of it due to their emotions, but cyborg, well that's not part of the character.

Apparently Matt Reeves is eyeing Jake Gyllenhaal as Affleck's replacement for Batman

It would be a family affair too since Maggie was in Dark Knight as Rachel.

Ouch, terrible Rotten Tomato score. They couldn't even manage to get a 70?

They just have an incredible system setup. They know exactly what they are doing. It's amazing. Even their weaker movies are still pretty good.
