"rumors are now circulating that Chiefs.. may be interested in Tim Tebow."
"rumors are now circulating" ... are you buying this?
http://www.isportstimes.com/articles...ity-chiefs.htm The Kansas City Chiefs may have just agreed to a trade with the San Francisco 49ers to get QB Alex Smith, but they may not be done dealing just yet. Even though Alex Smith will clearly be the opening day starter in Kansas City, they are still in need of a backup in case Smith gets hurt. Because of that, rumors are now circulating that Chiefs coach Andy Reid may be interested in Tim Tebow. Alex Smith lost his starting job in San Francisco due to injury. He may not be injury-prone, but he certainly is no stranger to being sidelined. If that happens, the Kansas City Chiefs desperately need a backup quarterback that will fit their scheme. Tim Tebow could be the perfect quarterback to come into KC and back him up. The Chiefs cannot expect Alex Smith to throw the football 40 times a game. In fact, they would do best if they built their offense around a running game and let Smith become a game manager. Tim Tebow may not be able to make all of the throws, but he is more than capable of becoming a game manager. Another problem with the Kansas City Chiefs is their inability to sell tickets and spark interest among the fan base. Kansas City was not very excited to hear that their team traded for Alex Smith, but trading for Tim Tebow would almost certainly help the team sell some tickets. Not only does a Tim Tebow to the Kansas City Chiefs trade make sense, it would also be risk-free for Andy Reid. The New York Jets do not want anything to do with Tebow which means the Chiefs will be able to get him for a very low draft pick. KC could probably get him for a seventh or sixth round draft pick. |

If they trade for Tebow, they might as well play circus music before every game.

Just to qualify the quality of the sight this story came from, here is another great tidbit that I am just sure will happen.
http://www.isportstimes.com/articles...ore-ravens.htm Joe Flacco Rumors: Cleveland Browns To Steal QB From Baltimore Ravens? Joe Flacco is on top of the world right now. He just won the Super Bowl and was named the game's Most Valuable Player. Since the Baltimore Ravens refused to pay him in the regular season, Flacco enters the NFL offseason as the No. 1 free agent in the world. That means he basically gets to name is own price while tons of teams beg for his services. Most people believe that he will remain with the Baltimore Ravens whether they pay him or even if they have to franchise him while they work out a deal. However, if the Ravens franchise him, Flacco would be dumb to sign his tender and ever report for the season until they either trade him or show him the money. That would likely give other teams an opportunity to deal for Flacco's services. Follow Us : One NFL team rumored to be heavily interested in Joe Flacco is the Baltimore Ravens big rival, The Browns are reportedly willing to break bank and even give away the house for Joe Flacco if need be. The Cleveland Browns are a very young football team, but they have a ton of undeveloped talent. They lack a quarterback and most importantly, they lack a strong leader. Some would say that if Joe Flacco joined the Cleveland Browns in 2013, they would easily make the playoffs. The Browns have a very strong running game and a couple of deep threats at the wide receiver position. Offensively, they are built very similar to the current Baltimore Ravens' offense except the Browns are younger and hungrier. Everyone in Cleveland believes they are just one quarterback away from Super Bowl contention. Will the Cleveland Browns actually end up with Joe Flacco? We highly doubt it. But if the Baltimore Ravens are unwilling to pay the man his money, then the Cleveland Browns will become Flacco's No. 1 option. |

Okay, it's probably fake, and I suspect anyone saying this has drawn abuse, but Tebow would be a great 50th or 51st guy on the roster to run trick plays. Not as a quarterback, mind you, but just line up somewhere out there.
