Smith is good enough at CB and Abdullah looks solid at FS.
We need to add another CB and a body or two to compete at SS...

We can get 2 or 3 guys for the cost of Revis.
just let it go Houston and a RT would bring more benefit for us than Revis

Say no to Revis and sign Perrish Cox and Boling at half of that what Revis' salary would be. Plus have more to spend on another veteran lineman like or another receiver like Crabtree or Cecil Shorts.

I'd be fine with rolling with Smith and Gaines at CB..Don't see the need for Revis.

If you're going to spend the money, get an elite player. Rather an elite player than 5 decent ones.

We add Revis to this defense, it's the best in the NFL. We need that to have a chance at winning it all with a QB like Alex Smith. By trying to sign him, the front office is acknowledging that fact. Peyton would re-think his return. |
