Prisco - Chiefs will go 6-10

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/story/1...as-city-chiefs

Kind of a weird article, with Clark Judge writing like a stupid homer, defending Cassel, calling McCluster a "dynamic and explosive playmaker."

Then it goes on to talk shit on Romeo Crennel at the end.

Most of it is tripe we already know, but there you have it. 6-10. Read it and weep.

Not defending Cassel but that was when we were so unprepared to play the game that it wasn't funny. I am sure that Cassel is a better QB than Palko.

Two of them were at midseason.

Your insistence on comparing QBs as if they're directly competing against each other is stupid. QBs are going against the defense. Saying this QBed team beat that QBed team is a bad way of judging who's better. Cassel is not a good QB, and there are many ways to prove this, but your QB-o-meter sucks.

It's not, really.

Why the **** do you think Cassel is .200 against elite QBs?

And FYI, the point, really, is that Cassel got beay 17-10, in a game he put up 7 points.

He could get beat 13-9 just as easy.

And he got beat 13-10 in his first Chiefs start.

There is no doubt that Cassel sucks ass. None whatsoever. But with that said, I think he was paired with the worst Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator in the history of the franchise.

What is an elite QB? Is Cam Newton elite? So, this year we play against Manning twice, Brees, Rivers twice, Roethlisberger, and Newton. I think that's it. Ryan is not elite to me, and Newton is pushing it. That's seven games against elite QBs. You think we win one? What if our D is lights out and Denvers D is shit? Could we beat Manning?

It's sooooooo much more about how our Defense does against these QBs.

Ryan is at least as good as Flacco.

Don't like our chances against:

Manningx2
Riversx2
Roethlisberger
Brees
Ryan
Flacco

That's half the schedule.

Slim margin for error.

And yes, our D plays a part, but if Cassel keeps going 3 and out, and we can't respond to scores...say goodnight. Give good QBs too many chances, and die.

You should rethink this.

If KC can consistently score 20+ pts (I don't think they can) we aren't going to lose 10 games. This defense is a top 15, perhaps top 10, unit...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

So, the Chiefs go 1-5 in the division and get swept by Denver and Oakland riiiiiight

They go 5-5 against this mythical, super, tough, impossible out of division schedule and go 1-5 against this sorry ass division.

The Chiefs got swept by the Raiders 2 years ago- in 2010, ...you know,... that's the year everybody on this board thinks the Chiefs will recapture
