Franklin or no Franklin, this is a pretty talented team with a lot of explosiveness on offense.
Florida is calling this week, and they just lost to LSU. They are down some this year, they have a new QB starting, just like we do. They only managed 6 points today. The next game for them is the big annual cocktail party with Georgia. There are a lot of angles there that favor us. I expect Missouri to win next week. South Carolina you can't pencil in as a win, but then we don't have a ranked team left on our schedule until the last game against Texas A&M. We ought not to be packing our gear yet. |

Congrats on the win. I actually could have gone, turned down 20 yard line 10 rows up for free to take my daughter to a pumpkin patch today...
Nobody I know down here thought we'd win today, way too many injuries. But for anyone to beat UGA between the hedges is a big deal. Hopefully you can use it to climb up in the league. Now go beat the shit out of Florida for us please... |

I heard the Big 12 was stronger now that Missouri and A&M left, and TCU and WV were added.

Jayhawk here...
Gotta say, and as much as it pains me, Mizzou looks damn good.

I'm all for the attendance smack, and I haven't seem the numbers, but it's not really fair to show a halftime pic when a lot of fans go out to the parking lot to drink at the half. They stopped this at Mizzou a few years back, but my wife, a TCU alum, says that's pretty normal at halftime in Ft Worth.

I only saw the last two minutes of the first half, then frantically checked the score on my phone in the second half. I thought they were toast when it was 28-26. That really sucks dick about Franklin. There is no doubt that our offense will be worse, especially on third down, as he adds a running element that Mauk just doesn't, but it wouldn't surprise me to see Mauk pass the ball nearly as well after a few games to get used to the speed.

I can only imagine the vitriol in this thread after Baggett missed the PAT.

I think Mauk will be fine, if they trust him to throw down field. We are just STACKED at WR. If the get uber conservative, we're ****ed. Need to come out throwing, if nothing else, just to show that we can. |

What a game, MU basically dominated 3 quarters. UGA can say all they want about the injured O-Players, but man MU was up and down the field...Almost at will. SUcks about Franklin but what do you do...Mauk looked pretty good in the 4th quarter when the sh^% was about to hit the fan...
