play calling is still a big weakness
I disagree on play-calling. When the O-line was actually blocking people, we had 250+ yards in the first half. I actually think Reid does a pretty good job scheming around an average offensive line.

In the 3rd quarter, before San Diego gave up, nothing was working because the line was getting blown up, due in large part to Jah Reid.

True. Alex Smith passed for fewer than 300 yards.

Nothing makes up for all the plays Reid wastes calling 15 bubble screens each game. He should just take that play out of his playbook complete. We would be better off ramming it up the middle with Ware. At least then we could play action pass off of it.

Uh that's my point entirely. When they uncharacteristically gave up 30+ points early in the seasons, we lost games because Smith isn't the kind of QB that can come back from that. But when they play even average, we can with with Alex.

They said in the radio, that he hurt his hand in pregame. Then was scratched from the lineup.

So you didn't notice all the pass rushing snaps Moses had, or the dl rotating, but carry on.

Play calling has got to change. Even my ****ing grandpa who almost never watches football looked at me and asked why they kept passing the ball being the LOS on 3rd down.

If the Chiefs can get in the playoffs I like the chances of ending the playoff winless streak. Playing Denver, Indy or Houston in the first round sounds lovely despite our shitty history against 2 of those teams. I'd take one ****ing playoff win as a successful season.
