Yesterday we brought to you the news that a reveal of Bungie's next project, Destiny, was being hinted at for this upcoming Monday, February 18 – an augmented-reality game on the studio's website seemed to be pointing toward that date. Well, we won't have to wait quite that long. It's now been announced that Destiny will be unveiled one day earlier than we thought, on this Sunday, February 17.
An official Facebook page went live today and made that announcement as its first order of business. A Twitter account for the game has also been activated as well.
And if all that isn't enough to get you hyped, have a first look at the game's just-revealed logo as well:

Playin skirmish tonight with one of my buddies and we both we 17-0 in one game. The other team got their first kill a little over halfway point of the game.

May be needing someone to run sword for a Crota HM checkpoint. I haven't figured out blink strike yet so I can't do it and would really like to just knock this out fast since we already spent 90 minutes on this last checkpoint last night.

Yep, can't wait to finally get that hard mode trophy. Pisses me off that we can never get the big guy down. That was my 7th attempt that stalled.

Your team has the mechanics down but with you all being pretty new to hard mode it will likely require everyone being a 32 and having maxed out rocket launchers with tracking. Along with heavy ammo synth.

Let me know if you want some help in the future. I'd love to be there when you guys get'er done.

Yeah I was a little frustrated that someone decided to play without a maxed out tracking rocket launcher. The symth thing doesn't usually surprise me. I've seen that happen before. One of the reasons I stock up every week.

You playing tonight? I have taken him down within the first 5 runs on both Hunters for the past month. Ill happily slice that mo fo in half for y'all. If you want I can show you my strategy so you can take him down before the level cap raise.

Also, I took your advice on the Titan being slow. I LOVE speed. So I kept both Hunters.

I'm on but will be doing the nightfalls. I don't think I can round up 4 other people that quickly for a checkpoint. Plus, two of them don't have the materials needed for the raid now. One ran out of synths and the other went in without a maxed out launcher.

So frustrating at this point with as long as the DLC has been out.

I wont be home for another couple of hours so Ill check to see if you're still on and well see if we can round up a team. WCS, if you want, we can 2 man normal to the Crota CP then I can run you through the strat to get you the most damage and minimize your risk then you're SB.

If nighfall x3 goes well we can see how much time is left to try crota.

I'm sure everyone could probably hear my giant facepalm when the guy said he didn't have a maxed launcher. the person that ran out of synth didn't bother me as much. Sometimes you just don't have enough.

I keep 100 synth on each character. Even though we failed it was probably good for everyone to experience it. My team probably took 16 total hours for our first hard mode crota clear. Once you get one you get into a rhythm.

I don't keep that many on me but I have never run out either.

I don't play the raids religiously though. to be honest I don't like either one of them as I find them somewhat boring. The only reason I play them is for the Radiant material.

I'm a huge fan of VoG. The mechanics and team work that's required is a lot of fun.

CE is basically a long strike. I still enjoy it but not nearly as much.
