I don't know how this can be any more simpler. If the Cavs don't do what Lebron says, Lebron leaves and the Cavs play without Lebron. Gilbert, Cleveland, and the GM (Griffin) don't want that. Lebron doesn't have a long-term deal with the Cavs. He purposely structured his deal so he can walk away if he's not happy with the direction the Cavs are moving in. The idea that the GM is making the decisions and not Lebron is beyond silly. Everybody knows that Lebron is calling the shots. |

And the GM will get fired if his unwillingness to listen to Lebron leads to Lebron walking. How is that a choice? If Griffin even tried to do things his way and it wasn't signed off on by Lebron, he'll get fired. |

Its a choice because when Lebron was a free Agent in the summer, they KNEW all this shit going into taking Meetings with him. If you sign Lebron or any major super star, they usually run the show, if they arent happy, they will leave. The NBA doesnt allow really long term contracts, so, players have more say so then any other sport on where they want to go usually.

Kobe is the most overrated "superstar" in any sport ... ever.

Second, more than any superstar, Lebron has a history of asking a lot from his front office... maybe more than any other superstar. He did the first time in Cleveland. Recall that the Heat amnestying Mike Miller made Lebron furious. Look at the Lakers. Do you think Kobe loves all the moves that team has made the last 5 years? He's still there, isn't he? Third and finally... like I said... The Cavs are a hell of a lot better off with Lebron in the lineup. They have an enormous motivation for him to stay. Given the state of the Cavs, do you think the Cavs had any choice but to bring him in? Do you think the Cavs have any choice but to convince him to stay past 2 years? Those 2 answers are about as close to a 100% "they have no choice" as you're going to get. Griffin had no choice but to bring Lebron in. Once he got Lebron, he had no choice but to build the team in exactly the way Lebron wants. |

I know Lebron is above scrutiny, but the way he is acting shows why I don't believe he's the G.O.A.T. A few things drive me crazy....
#1 - Blatt is being treated like shit. Enough with the passive bullshit. Lebron needs to either endorse him or be vocal that he needs to go. None of this mysterious answer bullshit. #2 - Be a true leader. It sounds like Lue is calling timeouts behind Blatt's back, players are calling their own plays, and nobody at all is hustling on either side of the ball. Lebron can put a stop to this. This behavior is just plain childish and terrible team behavior. You know what Jordan would do? Simmons said it in a Grantland article. Jordan would motion to the bench and tell his coach to yank a player who wasn't playing well. Where is that? Lebron has to demand more out of his teammates #3 - Lebron is not a GM. Just as Jordan is a terrible GM. And it shows. Kevin Love was not the right move. I hope I'm wrong, but sadly, I don't think I am |

Blatt is a ****ing terrible coach. He needs to go back to Europe. He can't coach NBA players.

It's hard for me to say. I think he could have been okay in the system he was thrown into, which was to coach a bunch of young players and build his own system. I don't think he was the right coach for the big 3. But regardless, the level of disrespect is beyond inappropriate. As leader of the team, LeBron should never let this shit happen.

i heard on ESPN radio yesterday that when Blatt got his first NBA win at the beginning of the season the players gave him the game ball and were all excited for him rubbing his head and he just said something like "This isn't my first win I got 700 wins in Europe" and it completely rubbed the locker room the wrong way lol

So the problem now with the Cavs supposedly is LeBron not playing coach but playing GM instead? A certain irony there.
![]() The guy won 66 games with Mo Williams as a #2 and Mike Brown as a coach in Cleveland. This entire team just has to play better (including LeBron). They're more than capable of it. |
