I was just playing. But to think there aren't any potheads on here, especially after some of the threads about weed and comments about it? Maybe you are high??

I am probably past my days of wanting to smoke anything but the edible stuff sure sounds interesting. I'm not looking to get high here (ok occasionally) but mostly if it can help with my hip pain?
All of our budtenders have a product called synergy in our medicine cabinets. 50Mg of cbd 50mg of thc. Almost instant relief. My dude uses it to pretend he still has cartilidge in his knees.

At this point, I'd have to say I've tried several acres of marijuana. Studies are ongoing and expected to continue indefinitely.

Nope. Plenty of my friends in HS smoked so I've been around it, seen it, smelled it (before burning), and inhaled it 2nd hand, but I've never actually put it to my lips and smoked it myself.

if I had a job that didn't do random drug screens, I'd most certainly smoke.
not smoking to get stoned to the max, but like two or three tokes off of a doober after dinner to relax.

My work can do random drug tests.

This is probably just me dreaming about all this.

Random urinalyses by employers just chaps my ass. I have never applied for a job that required it. I'm lucky to have the musical feather in my cap.

Pee for enjoyment, not for employment, I always say.

I gotta remember that line.

I've worked at places before that have had random screenings, but in 5 years of working at those places, I never got selected. My current place, however, does them once a month. I've been there since December, and have already been selected. They have a legit 'random' operation.

I don't think they'd ever random me unless I gave them a reason like missing work, weird behavior or some off chance random screen of everyone, which hasn't happened since I've been there.

But with my profession I can't chance it. I would be ****ed for employment for life and I didn't go to school all those years to chance it.

It's a dumb policy to have to pee test for a job for no reason though.

I can. I had a lot of peers at various ages and the pressure never worked. In my youth the best way to get me not to do something was to try to get me to do it, and vice versa.

DEA gives approval to Colorado-funded study on marijuana and PTSD
Researchers expert to begin enrolling patients in May at clinics in Baltimore and Phoenix
By John Ingold
The Denver Post
Posted: 04/22/2016 01:26:17 PM MDT21 Comments | Updated: about 9 hours ago

Military veterans across the country will learn whether marijuana can treat post-traumatic stress disorder effectively after a Colorado-funded study received groundbreaking approval from the federal government this week. The go-ahead from the Drug Enforcement Administration is the first time that the agency has given permission to use raw marijuana in a placebo-controlled clinical trial on PTSD, according to the study's supporters. Researchers in three states worked for the better part of a decade to win the approval. "Mostly we're just grateful that we get to see science move forward," said Dr. Sue Sisley, one of the study's leaders. Sisley and her colleagues plan to start as early as next month enrolling 76 veterans in the study at clinics in Phoenix and Baltimore. They will test how well smoking marijuana of different strains and potencies treats PTSD. All of the cannabis is being supplied by the federal government's marijuana farm at the University of Mississippi.
