Donaldson>Moustakas

And it's not even close.

Last night I was watching Hockey Night In Canada with Don Cherry and Ron Maclean; Don Cherry expressed a valid point in that there is an injustice going on with respect to selecting all-stars.

He pointed out that Moustakas is in the lead because it's the people in Kansas City that are giving him a gazillion votes, meanwhile, Donaldson is top 10 in the majors in RBIs, HRs, doubles, runs scored and in slugging percentage.

Fielding wise, Moustakas couldn't hold Donaldsons jock. Now is this deserving that Moustakas deserves to be ahead of Donaldson in voting when Donaldson outclasses him defensively and in a helluva lot of statistical categories.

Guys, you know this system is ****ing bullsh*t okay? Donaldson is the better player and deserves to be in there over Moustakas. You guys are voting him in there because he is your boy. This voting system on choosing all-stars is a reflection of extreme biases and favoritism. The people of Kansas City blew that out of proportion. It's just so unfair.

I guess Don Cherry can go put on a suit made of dicks and shut the **** up.

You got to see this current bluejays team play.

Man can they score runs. This is easily the best offense in the league. Defensively, they could play as well. I think theyre a top 10 D.

They have the fire power with Encarniacion, Bautista, Donaldson, Russel Martin and Reyes.

I love how the hitters are patient and work the count and force a lot of these pitchers to put one over the plate. It's great to watch to see them make opposing pitchers pay.

My concern is the pitching though. Starting pitching is average but is made up for by the offense. The bullpen doesn't have a legit closer and isn't a team strength. The Jays blew like 5,6 games this year and if they had a closer would be 10 games over 500. I'm tellin ya.

*I won't take anything away from the Royals. You know what? I wish the Jays had your bullpen. You guys beat us there. And clutch hitting? It's tough to say. Maybe the Royals. You guys had a lot of clutch hits in the playoffs last year and have the experience. But, lately the jays clutch hitting is coming along. It will be interesting to see the Jays and the Royals square off. I think we could take you guys on.

Also, let's not totally disregard(someone may have posted this earlier, I'm not reading 10 pages on this topic)that Donaldson, although a good player, has gotten to feast on the shit pitching of the AL East. His numbers may be a bit different having to face the likes of David Price, Chris Sale,Corey Kluber and Jeremy Guthrie on a regular basis. Just saying

I think his numbers have gone up because he is hitting in a much more friendlier ballpark. Oaklands stadium is a place where hitters go to die.

I think its pretty clear Donaldson is not only better than Moustakas but hes having a better year. What I dont understand is why people think Royals fans should care.

Its not ridiculous. Its true.

Moustakas' fielding isn't as good as Donaldson's. Does that make you feel better now?

um, not so much dude. You could make an argument that they are basically equivalent but most would say that Moose has had a better year (in regards to fielding) so far. Stick with Curling or Hockey...
