Tom Brady: Greatest ever?

So he now has four Super Bowls, just like Montana.

He also has the rare distinction of also winning one at the end of his career. Rarely happens to guys his age.

Also has disgusting numbers.

Difference in eras has to be considered, but it's certainly a conversation.

Manning has no place in that discussion

I think they will be.

In the same way that Dan Marino is discussed with Tom Brady, Joe Montana, and others.

Just stupid.
Very true, that said the play that allowed them to make that questionable call was a pure luck. Pure luck against Green Bay got them to the super bowl in the first place. Yes they are a very good football team but an extremely lucky team also~

Yep, Manning will be one of the best REGULAR SEASON QB's ever. Just not someone you want on your team come playoff time.

Montana had the advantage of superior talent IMO. Brady has had the advantage of rule changes handcuffing defenses~

I'll agree. I just didn't want it to become accepted fact that Brady played in an easy division while Montana didn't. They both did. Outside of the years with Welker and Moss, Brady has had to do it with a bunch of scrubs who couldn't make it on other teams.

This.

Plus Brady doesn't have a young stud breathing down his neck that the franchise is ready to put in the second he stumbles or is hurt...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Peyton's Colts were good, but there is no team in our modern era who could match the sheer talent on the Cowboys in the 90s. You take the Cowboys out of the equation and Montana easily gets the most rings.

Also Montanas first super bowls were not loaded with talent.

If not for that idiot Pete Carroll, Brady would have three SB losses in a row and we wouldn't be having this discussion. Thanks Pete!
