I need opinions on oatmeal raisin cookies.
My wife and I were having a conversation about cookies last night. My favorite cookie is oatmeal raisin, and I've always been under the impression that I'm in the minority.

She swears up and down that it's one of the most popular cookies.

So if you guys could just answer a few questions, I'd appreciate it.

Do you like Oatmeal Raisin cookies? When was the last time you had one? Where do you rate them on a scale of 1-10? How does it compare to other cookies?

Cocoa butter is gross by itself. White chocolate chips are loaded with sugar and vanilla. Anyone object to more sugar and vanilla added to just about anything?

There is another way to improve it, IMHO. Perhaps you could give it a try sometime and see if you agree. Substitute cream cheese for half the butter and refrigerate the dough for a half hour after mixing. The cookie won't spread as much during baking, and the interior chewiness and exterior crispiness aren't compromised.

Oatmeal raisin cookies are great. Love them.

My wife makes oatmeal cookies at Christmas time. She puts red and green M&M's in a few of them for decoration, but we both prefer them without the M&M's. She doesn't put raisins in them, but I would be fine if she did.
