A proposition for Hootie

So you have harassed the shit out of me lately. Making me truly regret supporting the mods lifting your permaban. You have gone out of your way to be a raging douche bag, even calling for my banning from the Royals Giants Gdt even though I have been nothing but respectful in those threads.

So, here is your chance.

Royals win, I leave forever. I'll even take an IP ban.

Giants win, you leave forever. Or at least until you slimily create a mult and weasel your way back again.

Put up our shut up. Be the hero CP needs.

Now I make this bet fully expecting the Royals to win. You clearly think the Royals are unbeatable. Do you have the guts?

That's the part that scares me.

I haven't seen this kind of thing since the Marlins beat the Yankees.

The Royals are on this kind of roll.

The last two wild card teams to meet in the world series. The giants choked. Just choked. And after catching all of the breaks in the past two post seasons, and so far in this one, they are destined to have karma come full circle and it catch up to them, and this Royals team scares the living shit out of me.

The Giants are awful at stopping the running game, and the Royals run like they are a track team. They play outstanding defense, and once you get to the 6th inning with a lead, the game is over.

They are kryptonite for the Giants. I have zero faith they win this series. NONE.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

If the Royals win, Hootie gets to pick your new baseball team. You shouldn't have an issue with that. Maybe he'll give you a Florida or Texas team so you can diversify a bit more.

There are a lot of things that could happen on this planet. Me ever forsaking the Giants, is never been one of them. I have lived through a lot of embarrassment, and uncertainty. Getting Grief when I wear my Barry Bonds jersey, to nearly losing our team to Tampa back in 1993ish, to the epic choke job by Dusty Baker in 2002, to getting swept in the earth quake series.

Ill never turn my back on them. Its funny, you quit liking one team, and all of a sudden im a team hopper. based on nothing but conjecture, and reerunation.

Case and point. When the Hornets left Charlotte to New Orleans, I went with them. The minute the Hornets returned to Charlotte, I left the Pelicans, and no longer pull for them. I have been a tarheel fan since I could stand.

So all of this team jumping is cute. Its never happened.

Here is my main criticism of Mav Ace - He can hit you the wrong way at first - I know in my case I found him very cynical and somewhat a 'know it all' in his beginning.

Through the course of my posts over the last 8 mos or so - Mav and I are cool and he seems fine to me, as far as a genuine poster - Originally (like several others) I was paranoid he may be a mult. & if he still is - than shame one me.

But overall this guy is warmer than his posts sometimes read. He has no issue disagreeing and sometimes pushing buttons, but when push comes to shove - he's a very solid 'stand up' person.

& I get the Hootie thing - Hootie is somewhat old school in fan guidelines and regulations, & again, I'm cool with that - Mav said he apologized - we've all had threads that have backfired, as entertaining as this thread is - I say just let her die and move on - I think Mav and Hootie will fine - i feel okay about where their online relationship is heading.

Somewhere I heard when he golfs he is a total dickhead to his caddy - like SUPER hardcore asshole. He had hip surgery and i truly think I could give Barry all he wanted in a fist fight now. I'd love to have a shot at kicking Barry's ass - Can you imagine the press i'd get?!
