I've seen this movie too many times (KC Chiefs circa 1993 - 1997) to get excited over another warmed over game manager at QB.

If you're happy with the teams KC fielded under Marty then this is a wet dream for you. As for me, there's nothing that really excites me this up comming season. Hell even the draft is a wash for me this year, seeing Jokel or Fisher putting on KC's hat when we draft a LT at 1.1...man that's edge of your seat type of stuff right there.

And until this team gets serious about drafting and developing its own starting QB there's really nothing exciting about the KC Chiefs.

This ain't the NBA or NHL.

Wild cards, especially ones the originate from the weaker division, is just a moneymaker for the league and nothing more.

Unless you're the Giants a wild card does nothing more than **** up your draft position.

Seems the Chiefs always lose a game you'd think they'd win and win a game or two you'd think they were going to lose. I'll say 8-8. It ain't going to happen overnight. After last year, I'll enjoy looking forward to Sunday afternoon's again.
