LOL you can have Howe. Ill fight to the death with the other guys, but I dont care enough to spend any energy on a hockey discussion. I admittedly dont know enough to have an intelligent discussion and dont want to be "that guy"
"the meat dragon" showed his ass in this thread and didnt do too well for himself IMHO, to try to offer and opinion on a GOAT without ever seeing his competition play and then insult those that did, is pretty foolish and shows me that he will take an opposing side just to argue the poster instead of the facts if the results fit his agenda. Put Montana on about any borderline playoff team of the last 20 years and he could take that team to a superbowl or at least the championship game. He had a knack for coming up bigger than expected just when you needed it and almost never making a mistake that cost his team the win. If Joe had a healthy career for the 49ers, he may have won 6 or 7 rings. |

Let it be known I prefaced my RB ranking based on their short shelf lives.
If you want to talk aboot duration of a career Emmmittt Smif is the winner. Most great backs can be ruined by a ingrown nail on their pinky toe. |

Natrone Means isn't even a top 50 RB. Probably not even top 100.

Dammit. Try to get your head out of your ass for a second and think aboot who you thought was the greatest RB you'd ever seen ever before their impending demise.
Bo Jackson? Shaun Alexander? Priest Holmes? Joe Morris? Terry Allen? |

That is a pretty ridiculous statement. Nothing will ever change that? Odds are that he breaks Favre's records by the time he is done. If he breaks those records and happens to win several more super bowls that still would not change your opinion?
I am in the Montana camp for greatest QB all time, but there can always be better. Only time will tell on Peyton... Posted via Mobile Device |

Peyton Manning is on pace to becoming the greatest quarterback ever, and everything that he is doing up to now is determining that. Bank it oldman!

I get upset when you see a list of great quarterbacks and Terry Bradshaw isn't on it.
He should be right under Joe in second place. |

You put Joe on the Steelers and they might win 8 championships.

Right now the top 3 is Montana, Elway and Manning. I cannot fathom anyone arguing that Brady is better than Manning, it's just mind-boggling. If Manning wins a 2nd, he's right alongside Elway (needing only longetivity to surpass him, IMO). My list: 1. Joe Montana (steady stream of injuries bothers me though) 2. John Elway (though I'll listen to an argument that puts him at 1 due to durability) 3. Peyton Manning 4. Bart Starr 5. Brett Favre 6. Dan Marino 7. Johnny Unitas 8. Roger Staubach 9. Steve Young 10. Tom Brady And no, Bradshaw doesn't make my list for precisely the reason listed above -- he won SBs in an era where his team was simply better than everyone elses. He's #11 on there, but any one of the QBs above him would've won those 4 SBs with the team he was on.
