What is your LEAST favorite fast food restaurant?

Simply Red's classic Hardees thread got me to thinking - where is everybody's least favorite fast food joint? Poll will be coming soon!

Did you grow up in the Northland in the 60s and 70s? It was the place to be. Pretty girls, Tacos, burritos and pocket burgers plus the smell of tire rubber burnouts from muscle cars turning out into N Oak. That powder cheese is like crack ask any kid who has ever ate Kraft Mac and cheese. Also fast food was few and far between back then and Taco unheard of unless cooked at home. Course we has smacks burgers and Antioch center but we just circled in our cars there. I rarely go to In a Tub now because quality has fallen and prices have risen to where you can eat a pretty damn good meal and come out cheaper than IAT.

Maybe you should read your own links again?

First link: Clearly shows ~10% of meals are under 600 calories and ~15% of meals are <700 calories.
Second link: Saw that one a while back, nothing to do with the nutrition calculator being inaccurate.

It's not like they're serving chicken and lettuce that are magically high in calories... stay away from the hard hitters/high carb stuff (just like billay's order for the most part), and the worst you're dealing with is a meal high in sodium.

I am not nearly that old.

We did however cruise North Oak, that was still a thing when I was in high school. 54th Street Bar and Grill during normal hours, stupid Perkins for late night (preferred IHOP though).

I voted BK. That's based on the downward spiral they've taken since I was younger. I used to love their Whooper sandwich, but the last one I ate was bad (a couple of years ago). I'm not sure what changed but it was for the worse. It just didn't have much flavor.

I hardly eat fast food, so I don't have much of an opinion on the other places. There just aren't many options where I live or work. There's a little mom and pop Chinese place close to my house that's my go-to for "fast-ish" food. They only have 4 tables, so almost all their business is carry out. They're fast and are generous with the meat in their entrees, plus a drink is included at lunch ($5.99 combo).

When I was in college I did like Hardee's Big Twin burger. They took it off their menu which disappointed me.

"It was the place to be." Key operative word in that sentence is definitely "was"...

That 32-word last sentence says exactly what I stated in 3: OVER-RATED AND OVER-PRICED!

I have an interesting story for all of the people that voted Subway. 4 years ago I moved and put my microwave in the attic for storage since the new home had a microwave built into the stove. 2 years later I went up into the attic to get the microwave out and found that there was an old 6" Subway meatball sandwich inside. Apparently my son left it in there and forgot about it. After sitting in my attic for 2 years, the meat and cheese had disappeared but the bread was completely intact. It was a little tough but it hadn't even started molding yet.

I really don't know if it's a good or bad thing that Subway bread didn't decompose in my attic (which is also hot as hell) for two years, but I suspect that they have to put some kind of crazy preservatives in their bread to make it stay that long.

I used to love BK, but in the past few years it seems like any time I eat there the food is cold. Like, fries and even the 'meat' is never hot.
especially at the spot at 95th and Quivira....horribly run location. I haven't been in probably 3 years. always dirty, lobby is filthy, orders always wrong, stinks, ....just nasty.
Whereas the one by my work is always clean, and has been pretty good on the few occasions I've popped in for a quick bite at lunch.

I like Wendys, but the one down the street from my place is as horrible as the BK. haven't been to that one in probably 5 years. Both those places are so bad, I'm honestly surprised they're still open /in business.

The bread dehydrated which stops mold. Dehydration is actually a good preservative (jerky, dried fruit, bread crumbs, etc.).

Of the listed options, I voted for Burger King over Subway, since I don't like sub sandwiches to begin with and never eat there. There was a time when I ate at Burger King, but their quality has gone in the toilet.
