Reid is a tough one for me. Yes he is frustrating at times but he also is the reason the Chiefs aren't a complete embarrassment anymore.
The playoff game last year when he kept throwing the ball and stopping the clock in the second half about did it for me though. Either he had no confidence in Davis not to fumble or he just went full reerun I have no clue. |

I was coming from the view point that they were killing us badly (it seemed) when we lined up in gun. I don't have the numbers, I just remember seeing them line up and thinking "here comes another run", ball would be snapped, and we get crushed. again though...i think their DL was just dominant a majority of the game and were all over us like ugly on an ape.

As for andy reid - What other coach in the NFL gets away with 'just getting off the field' down 11 with possession at 3 minutes before the half?!?!?!?!? |

A friend of mine is a eagle's fan and he warned me about games like this and Reid when he was hired. ..

The sack? You are going to bitch about the sack? Guy came through the middle of the line obscured, but untouched and is in Smith's face within two seconds of the snap. Kelce dropped the first down pass... ball went right through his hands and hits the turf. Hammond is for some inexplicable reason 4 yards past the line to gain on a 4th and long timing play. I thought Smith's play was flat in the first half along with the rest of the team, but he was playing well in the second half.

That was the 3rd quarter, dude. There was still the threat of the run. Actually, we only scored that TD to Fasano because they thought we would run and Jamaal did ALL the work on the second TD. Alex made some plays when he started going down field for sure. He balled out for exactly 1 quarter. I'm going to need my $68 million man to turn in at least 2 good quarters when we need it. And that sack was absolutely atrocious. You CANNOT take a sack there under any circumstances. Any great QB would recognize where the blitz might come from pre-snap and know where his receivers are so he can throw it their feet if worst came to worst. |

Your gripe on the sack is BS. Smith is one of the more mobile QB's in the league. He'd already alluded a sure sack earlier in the drive. His eyes were downfield and the blitz came up the middle untouched. Wilson took a similar sack like that last week and no one was putting that on Wilson. Our line sucks. We know our line sucks.... I don't know why we pretend it doesn't by blaming the QB for line suckage. I think Smith should have pulled the trigger on Bowe in the end zone. That one is his. He went conservative and opted for the sure lead with a FG than risking a potential drive killing pick. He opted to take the lead and rely on the strength of the team which is the defense. It's held against far better teams the past two weeks, no reason not to think it wouldn't against a much weaker team. It didn't. I thought he should have pulled the trigger, but the smart play was probably what he did.

Not that he'll ever be a gunslinger, but were we ever able to get something more explosive than Bowe and Wilson out there, I'd bet that our deep game gets a lot better. |
