Tigers get Price. Royals get Jack Shit.

Tigers tighten hold on division with a blockbuster trade.

http://sports.yahoo.com/news/tigers-...204522907.html

In other baseball news..

Royals get Jack Shit-hope for the best. Decide 2nd or 3rd for the next ten years is not too bad-after all they are still making a profit.

So who is jumping off the Royals bandwagon now?

Marlins were shopping this guy all winter according to reports. The Marlins were trying to dump his salary. We could have traded prospects for him most likely. It would have been a risk-but look at his numbers this year.

This is just one example-I am sure there has been many since 1985.

Probably nothing now after the season he is having. He had some injury problems and I am pretty sure his name was tossed around in the Winter Meetings before the start of the season. Here is one team that would still trade for him.

Looks like the Cardinals would love to have him as well.

The Royals were probably never interested anyways back when they could have traded for him well below his current market price. They knew he would have a big contract coming up in a few years. I mean they wouldn't pay Dye-why would they pay Stanton. They seem content on plugging in some league minimum scrub and then repeat when the fans complain about the lack of production.

This is just one example of the hundreds over the years since 1985.

Very few teams have the prospects to pull off a trade that size.

Do you actually read articles before you post them? That article was written in March and in the article the Marlins stated that they weren't shopping Stanton and that only one team had even called to check on his availability. It also stated that if a team would trade for him it would take top young players and the team trading for him would have to sign Stanton to a long term deal.

This. There was no ****ing way the Marlins were shopping Stanton. Everything i have read says the opposite. The Marlins are building around Stanton, Ozuna and Yelich, their young players.

You would have to give up Ventura, Duffy, and your top 3 prospects in the minors to get Stanton.

Read the article from Jo Po- it is Not about this one trade deadline-it is about not doing Jack Shit since 1985. Glass has been ****ing horrible.

I don't know what it is, but Royals fans just aren't getting that. Wouldn't be surprised if a trade like that snatched up Sal Perez as well.

So after Mike Trout, the most coveted young player was on the trading block this winter and no big teams made an offer for him, yet the Royals were suppose to. Good call dipshit. Bunch of ****ing idiots people have been about this trade deadline.
