Ya know if one were to read through this thread you would think we were losing this game. Everyone is so uptight. Never at any point did I fear we would lose this game. Was it perfect? No...but did we win....Hell yeah! 5-3 baby!!!!

... not gonna lie, victory on that count was sweet as nectar, a lot of us ate a TON of shit about the Jets for a good solid year.

I would hardly call a 24-10 victory a terrible game. Despite a 78 yard kick return by DAT, touchdowns by both Kelce and Charles, an amazing catch off a tipped pass by Fasano for a touchdown, a field goal by Santos, and the fact that the Chiefs' defense shut down the Jets for 3 quarters of play, yet you thought the game was terrible? Reid has some dumb moments, but he's still easily one of the top 10 coaches in football. Anyone who thinks the Chiefs win in spite of him doesn't deserve the benefit of watching the Chiefs under him; instead they should be punished by watching what they'd look like with a reerun like Mike Pettine or some other low-level scrub HC the other teams are forced to hire. The Chiefs are 16-8 (really 17-7, they beat SD, refs stole it) under Reid, and believe me, in case you don't watch much football outside of the Chiefs, their talent level is NOT at that level. The Chiefs overachieve ultimately because of Reid.

Played brutal (blame the players), but win by 14 at home. Will be 6-3 after next week with wins over SD, NE, MIA. Not a single poster here should be dumb enough to claim they believe KC has more talent than those on-paper results.

because the stuff we just did badly was the stuff that cost us a playoff win last year

Just because he has the ability to call great games doesn't make up for the frequency of his stupid moments.

Throwing (again, and again, and again) when you have a 2TD lead is just stupid and it's the way good teams lose games that they should win.

They won. Great. But Reid has already cost us better chances at winning games this year with his disdain for the rushing game. If criticism bothers you then whatever, but these throws today (like the idiotic plan against the Titans and refusal to run against the Niners) is DUMB.

Reid did something statistically impossible in the playoff game. His stupidity took an impossible situation for the Colts and make it possible.

When its time to run the ball to eat clock, you run the ****ing ball. you don't go full stupid and keep throwing the ball to protect the lead.

There wouldn't of been enough possessions for the colts if Big Candy would of just kneeled on the ball each play up 28 with 20 min to go...
