My birthday is thurs and I'll likely be going out to watch the series/thurs night football.

The Royals need to get their $#it in gear by then...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

I wasn't sure about that when it happened a couple of games ago. I thought if the ball hits the dirt, it becomes a dead ball at that point and it wouldn't matter if you swung and missed, fouled it off, or hit it. If it goes in the field of play, I guess you play it out

Just enjoy the ride, friends.

It's been 30 years since you gave a shit about a tuesday baseball game in October.

It sucks that the Umpire is treating the Royals like one of Hootie's HS drunken girlfriends, but it's still fun to care tonight.

The Royals......are going to win this game. I am going to drink Crown Royal. It's a given combination.

I agree, but his approach has COMPLETELY changed. Last year he was a right center to left center hitter. He's dead pull and swings at everything now. He clearly needs more rest, but he also has to go back to square one with his approach.
